  1. Make of this what you will
  2. How much leeway dyou give having that amount of players out? despite the size of squad, the standard drops pretty quick one or 2 players in.Still should have had enough to win though
  3. Might have been better being as depleted as we were, but worth persevering with,if all the top players are fit.....and to avoid going back to the eye bleeding football of last year
  4. well,he always caught the eye at St J IMO
  5. I was chuffed when he signed, but often looks off the pace.hopefully a case of johnny Hayes syndrome, best to come
  6. Stream frozen
  7. Til now.....
  8. Pretty lame so far....

  10. Defeat not unexpected, could have done without one that margin like. Need a solid replacement for McKenna, but doesnt sound like weve got the funds according to the last club email?. Maybe need to focus/improve meantime on our strengths(attack) to take the pressure off defence
  11. .......Maybe a good time to start ?
  12. Anyone else see this
  13. good spot. 5'3" according to Wiki, looks about right.Pic looks like him
  14. Fine array of flares en route to the final download by , on Flickr
  15. Aye,remember it well.Think he was also trying to gee us up a bit for the remainder of the game First final I can remember.Too young for the '70 cup final, would have loved to catch that one.Can name all the guys in the picture below, except the guy sitting on the edge at this end, blond hair? 01_1976LeagueCupWinners by david henderson, on Flickr
  16. A good win without being as pleasing on the eye of late.Good work rate ,snuffed out Hibs well
  17. Incontinentastic
  18. Yes...nice finish
  19. Nice.Pity I went for a cup of tea when we scored.Might have another....
  20. Was the semi defeat not as much down to a rare(this season) purple patch fae Celtic that knocked the stuffing out us? Above line up looks as good as we can muster this week. 3421? Hedges/Wright with Cosgrove up front? Potential for goals, looking forward to it.COYR
  21. Any word on how long Hayes is out for? Heard he was getting a scan a couple of days ago,but not seen any updates Potential for a good game though, would also start with Edmundson if it means the type of fitba we saw. McInnes mentioned having Cosgrove back meant the opportunity to get more crosses into the box,(which sounded a bit like at the expense of on the deck fitba to me). Defence wise,as long as were scoring more than were shipping,I would allow the current trio more gelling time with the new set up Dons 3 - Hibs 1 Edmundson,Wright x2
  22. Think it would have been a sorer defeat if it had been a normal semi final, just my opinion though. Jonny in the side may have tipped the balance a bit,but we couldnt get near them for most of the first half TBH. One of those Celtic periods .If were stuck with what weve got meantime, can we get more out the existing personnel defensively,if we want to persist with/develop the same style of fitba(which I hope we do). Can't Ash's defensive frailties be coached out of him? Weve seen the best of Consi like, but whats a reasonable grace period for them with the new system?
  23. Its ok,once Consis finished banging them in he'll be back marshalling the defence magnificently
  24. Had the hope drummed out of me for Celtic games in recent years,so not overly optimistic. Were capable of giving them a thrashing, but am also prepared for the possibility of a plucky defeat,if not a pathetic capitulation. Nonetheless looking forward to it,COYR
  25. Just discovered Oscar Peterson recently.Fairly knows how to get around the piano
