  1. Wondered if Polvara (6' 4")couldn't be moulded into a defender/potential utility player. Bit of a worry seeing McKenzie and Milne in again, hopefully toughens them up. Ah well COYR
  2. Will copy/paste later but I'll go steamin in with 72 points

    Celeb Deaths

Found her difficult to like during her career being honest, but had a wierd life for sure.Mother was as abusive, physically and mentally,as the Nuns/priests at the Magdeleine 'correction' centre she was sent to. Pretty messed up. Just a shame she wasnt able to navigate her way out to something more stable
  4. Are Scales and Killian still in the equation? First line up,would you not swap Dadia(a bit slow apparently) for Devlin(to bomb up/down the right). 2nd line up,why not have Duk behind Sokler and Miovski.Entertaining at least....
  5. Burrows said somewhere he was hoping to get at least 2 or 3 of their signing targets over the line soon.... Lot more activity going on in the profile pic dept it seems,...
  6. Seeing the new kit last night,it looks much better in the flesh.Best ever day 1 home kit sales according to Burrows, who also says he's hopeful of new signing news soon
  7. That urine stain comments kinda quashed my initial enthusiasm now it's mentioned. Love the design though...also like the Eindhoven effort
  8. Turriff tickets all sold
  9. Me and my n'bour were planning to head along to Turriff on Wed for the Dons friendly.Heard the Broch game on Saturday is already sold out,and didnt realise the Turriff game was all ticket(assumed you could just pay on the day).Wee heads up for anyone thinking of going.. https://www.turriffunitedfc.co.uk/news/pre-season-friendly-will-be-all-ticket-affair?id=431476
  10. Ross Doohan in as back up.Dont know much about him,but seems to be getting a lukewarm reaction elsewhere.Keeps the Scottish reared contingent numbers up if nothing else,... ...and Joe leaves with best wishes,a couple of great years when on form
  11. Love yer Duks,Miovskis et al,but having one of the prominent players with a local link ala Shinnie,Anderson, adds to the identity Nae sure if the Williams signing rules out Pollock coming back yet, hopefully not,....and the Teklic signing seems to be blowing hot and cold,....doesnt seem to be out of the equation yet though
  12. Welcome back yi sexy baist
  13. See Hugh quite regularly, fine guy, always happy to talk fitba.Wish him well. Wondered if the longer term negotiations might also be the East European guy,(Tokic or whatever his name is)
  14. Forecast good for the rest of the evening.,come away... ...and it starts pishing
  15. Hignett - great player, shite manager playing miserable fitba,no wonder he left,we almost packed it in too What could he have done in the current side...
  16. On the cusp of Euro greatness again, and youre thinking of chucking it? Someone explain the fakeness of this gloryhunting?
  17. Wow,had my doubts, but a 4 year deal is superb business. Wonder how much we paid for him... Welcome aboard Leighton
  18. More chance of getting Shinnie permanently? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65881568
  19. Dyou not have contacts within the club who could pull some strings for you when ness?
  20. Are you saying people should reduce the busyness of their lives to focus on being more betterer Dons fans ? Nae sure how this links to supporters being fake but happy for you to explain,...and the treatment you and other Dons fans receive thats not on?.....
  21. Raith Rovers replay at Pittodrie during the McGhee debacle during the coldest winter for years. A 'what am I doing here' moment, that I havent felt at some of the other humiliations like Sigma,Livi 6 - 1,St J 5 - 0...etc
  22. Definitely noticed them last season, not sure they were as far back as '19/'20.
  23. Just back from Achiltibuie.Cooler than usual around 14oC,(been up at 26oC in the past),but dry and midge free. A bit of fishing below Cul Mor mountain And an evening stroll up Stac Pollaidh.Very popular wee hill with great views.Hour up,hour down, but steep and a bit scrambly near the summit.https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/ullapool/stacpollaidh.shtml

Keeping it local, long weekends/short breaks for me. Just back fae a pre midge 5 days in Achiltiebuie.Cooler than normal, but dry.Lismore island mid summer.Trying to book something in Harris for late summer.Hill weekends in between
