  1. ...and then Orlanda was happy for the rest of the day, safe in the knowledge there would always be a bit of his heart devoted to the transfer window
  2. love a trip to County but wont manage this one.Would keep Sokler in for this, due to County being potentially vulnerable and a goal or 2 hopefully kick starting his season.A Nisbet/Sokler combo sounds appealing, but hard to not include Pape after last weekend Oot Hame Prediction 1 - 4 Dons Gueye,McGrath,Sokler,Nisbet
  3. did I hear right, they got a £3m investment from somewhere? If not, what have they done to sort themselves out. They were looking a bit basket case-ish a couple of months ago
  4. Ringos up there with Charlie Watts * In the drummer dross category
  5. Random thought I had today when Clarkson comes back.In certain games, replacing Sokler or Gueye with McGrath possibly a better option? Tidier, quicker, better use of the ball in tight situations, good eye for goal...?
  6. A belter of a tune, which I played to death( as a budding drummer) on the old Sony Walkman, trying to emulate(failed) John Bonhams bass drum triplets. What a drummer though...
  7. Thought we were only at 70% today,if that. Without Shinnies drive and eye for a pass, along with Nilsen, think we may have struggled to break Killie down.Didnt help that number of players had quieter than desired performances, and while were still experimenting a bit with players, a 2 nil win v stuffy Killie isnt to be sniffed at. Shinnie,Nilsen and Ruby the better players today.Gueye, goals aside, may be better left sniffing around the box, outside the box he was pretty clumsy.Still hoping Sokler comes good,a goal would help Ps the crowd today given as 16'100.Looked about right in the ground, but there were only 700 tickets left at K/O. Have we changed how we calculate it this season? ie folks in the ground rather than STs and tickets sales?
  8. A good butterys hard to find these days but those^^ are nae bad..
  9. Looks like a similar crowd to the St Mirren game,so rural Dons best leave early, fair amount of pain in the hoop roadworks/diversions around town. https://tellmescotland.gov.uk/tellmescot/pages/notices?mode=postcode&pCode=AB15 4ZX
  10. In - Y,if no Mainer tickets become available Prediction - Maybe a good time to catch Killie, but will take a scrappy 1 - 0 knowing Dels set ups. Gueye
  11. Was told randomly a couple of days ago,we're trying to get a defender and an attacker in before the end of the window.Wasnt told if the attacker was a striker,or winger. The guy who told me doesnt normally give info like that out,but he seemed pretty matter of fact about it.....take it or leave it
  12. Looks around 10k at this stage Oot - Wedding up North Prediction - 3 - 1 Dons. McGrath x2,Gueye
  13. Pic from the display for Thelin. South stand = Swedish flag
  14. ^^Quite a pleasing bottom 3 Just back.A good three points,as much to do with St Mirren being poor than us being good, but we had enough about us to get the win.Am hopeful the 2 new(preferably more) signings will lift the general quality of our play, bring out more from some of the existing players.Got to also allow bedding in time for new system/manager Liking the look of Nilsen more.Morris looked lively initially but lost his way,Pape has the ability to make you think he has something about him,and then look like a donkey, but in both cases am not writing them off. Most of the rest of the players got just about pass marks,no more. Ref was a twat
  15. Fine day for it. Looks like a healthy crowd(18'000 ish) for Jimmys first SPFL game.Fair bit of roadworks for our Northern and Western travellers,so best leave early
  16. While Morris is still here, why mot allow him a bit of a Topi 'ah,so that's how you do it' period.
  17. Coulda telt me it was the morn... Now In Y COYR
  18. Someone on X saying Topi to be a Don Translated to - pi Keskinen will move to the ranks of the Scottish premier league club Aberdeen. According to my information, the transfer amount is around €1M. HJK also received an offer from Keskinen from MLS, but the 21-year-old's decision was to stay in Europe.
  19. As long as uncle Ebbe doesn't find out
  20. Potentially to be a good watch, unfortunately Ive a family thing up the road so wont make it.We've shown signs of being pretty effective going forward in some games, hopefully better to come. Saints may also trouble our not quite settled defence though... Oot Prediction - 3 - 2 Dons. McGrath,Sokler,McKenzie
  21. Think he's a cracking player,a bit under appreciated.Am a wee bit more optimistic about him staying,we'll see....
  22. Devlin. deservedly ahead. Miovski and Sokler been linking well
  23. Fawanews is where I stream games,...normally good quality picture, but you often have to refresh a few times during a game. Not aware of other sites, and not techy enough for Firestick? VPNs etc whatever they are...
  24. I see Alan Campbell has been made available for transfer from Luton.Signed in '21,cant be much,if anything left on his contract.Been out on loan the last year.....
