  1. ^^^Well thats right
  2. Early highlights -
  3. Fair play to the visionaries on here who thought Morris still had something to give.... Some cracking balls into, and around the box today.Well done loon, hud g'an
  4. Ill take a late soaking on the Y,if it means getting a late winner,....in the unlikely provider of Peter Ambrose It was a patchy performance, but as others have said, you feel we're not seeing the finished article, but also confident that Jimmy sees the same thing, and theres still more to come from us.McGrath has been one of our more consistent performers, but he was pretty off it today, possibly as a result of not being used to the position he was in today, but hopefully he gets a run at it to see what he can do.We defended quite well, maybe missed Shinnies buzz in midfield. Interested to see the line up for Sevco.
  5. A bit frustrating so far,too often, passes not reaching the target, players running into dead ends.Utd been dangerous on the break, but not really had concrete opportunities.Surely improve second half.
  6. Roadworks should help dampen the enthusiasm, seems to be heaps the last year or 2. Check here for incomers https://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/services/roads-transport-and-parking/check-road-closures-and-diversions
  7. Possibly, but even going by punters in the ground,I'd say its more nowadays. As i edited above there was only 8000 for our first home game after we won the league in 1980.Imagine if we won it now.... Edit - Nah we played Utd in the first home game - 13'000,Morton a few weeks later in front of 9'600(AFC Heritage)
  8. Some of the crowds we get nowadays are better than peak Fergie era,...ie post ECWC in 83/84 our average gate was 17'500 when the capacity was 24'000.Three of the first 4 home games of that season were were only 13/14'000. Funny how crowds have gone up,not only us,but across the board in Scotland, when competition in the top league is less than back then Come to think of it,the first home game of the season after we won the league in 1980,I think there was only around 8000 there,v Morton?
  9. Thats a shame. Not one of my favourite grounds to watch fitba, but Inverness is always good for a visit. Punched well above their weight for long spells, but there doesnt seem to be enough local interest to sustain that? Can only see them bouncing about the League 1 /Championship areas longer term,...if they come back from this
  10. Nae sure about dropping Molloy.Though still not 100% convinced about the Rubi/Molloy combo,If Jimmy thinks he appears to be learning as he goes, and the confidence hasnt dropped,I'd allow him to carry on with the odd mistake,...til otherwise.Maybe swap Clarkson for McGrath too? Looking forward to it,love a night game In - Y Will take a scrappy 1 - 0. Duk
  11. The weight and curve of the pass from McGrath ... from this angle. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1289920825502150
  12. Some game next weekend.Jutes did well to come back v Hibs.Evening k/o,probable full house,ca' wait Just buying tickets now, less than 1k left,...nip on abdy
  13. Blimey
  14. It was painful watching Pawlett during the Brown era, often the only making a dangerous run or showing for the ball, that few of the others in the side of that time were smart enough to pick up on.Wonder what he could have done in todays side...
  15. Bojan with a goal for N Macedonia v Armenia.Won 2 - 0

    Celeb Deaths

Indeed, collapsed after a speech in Macedonia on Friday apparently
  17. How was Duk received when he came on?
  18. Peed I missed that, but listened intermittently on the radio on the way back down the road.Seemed to be a goal every time I switched on,though it had the feel of not going to be our day when they deservedly equalised.Great comeback though and another 3 points.Plenty still to work on for Thelin before the game at the Brendanbau, but Celtic possibly a bit off the pace currently, not the worst time to play them,..... hopes not overly raised though
  19. Also unsure of what to expect, and what that late win may have done for Hearts.Theyve been pretty rank all season otherwise, hopefully deflate them with an early goal and they resume falling apart.Gueye could have been useful in a game like this,I like his unpredictability. Not sure if Sokler or Duk comes into the reckoning for this, but surely not Ambrose.......at any stage Oot North Prediction 2 - 2 Nisbet,McGrath
  20. Great support again,.....maybe ease off on the Abdn ole song a bit #startingtogetonmytits
  21. Uncomfortable, but Ill take it. A good win, which at the same time allowed us to see and hopefully work on some of our weaknesses. Ambrose meanwhile, looked awesomely thick, lazy and useless.Impressive portfolio
  22. Been some questionable defensive decisions, after looking pretty dominant.See what were made of second half...
  23. Topi the league Hearts falling apart...again
  24. forgot about Clarkson http://www.fawanews.com/Dundee FC vs Aberdeen.html
