McLaren I think is better than Kamberi. 6 full Aussie caps and was in their World Cup squad. So not really on the same level as Ball Edit.....And now Lennon has around £1.85million or so if my maths are correct from the sale of McGinn. Even if he is only given half that its still about twice what we have to improve our squad. He's got his front line sorted, defence looks ok so its his midfield I'd guess they want to improve. There are more midfielders around than anyone else so with his budget I think he will. We have £500k to get us a decent striker. NOT convinced we will get a good 'un
-
Theyve also got McLaren back for another year. Both him and Kamberi would have been an upgrade on our strikers but don't think we even enquired

Nadir Ciftci signing tomorrow Yet another Hat exclusive
-
Allan has made no secret Hibs is where he wants to be. If the dhims wont let him go now he will just sit out his contract and join next summer. Even if we were to put in a bid I don't think hed want to sign for us
-
John McGinn signs for Aston Villa. Fee reported around £2.75million. St Boo due 30% of that but still leaves Hivs the thick end of £2million. I'm concerned that Lennon could do quite a lot of damage with that if he is given licence to spend the lot
-
Not at all....Anderson could well become a first pick fairly soon especially if we don't get another striker in. Just think we have to try Cosgrove/May as a partnership before finally writing them off. FWIW i think Campbell will become a first pick before the end of the season probably ousting Gleeson.

It's all gone worryingly silent on the Hoban situation. Hopefully I'm pishing my pants over nothing but I'm wondering if he has been sent down to Watford for their medical crew to take a look before anything is announced? Even if he is fit I'd still like to see Harrington get a start. It's pretty much the ideal game to do it in and with this being Logan's final year of his contract we have to start looking at alternatives in case he doesn't sign a new one.....remember last time his contract was running down it looked like he was offski only at the very last minute to have a u-turn and sign a new deal. I'd also like to see us try Cosgrove alongside May up top going 4-4-2 with Gleeson on the bench. Again this game along with St Boo next up are the ideal time to see if they work. If not we can then start saying they aint fit for purpose and maybe (try to) move one of them out

Dont say i didn't tell you so... SFA are corrupt bastards -
Upside being its now doubtful an English club will come in before their window shuts with a £3million bid giving Wiggy the chance to sell him for less than he is really worth. It's actually also a fairly good time to get injured with the League Cup game after Dundee, Hibs will be a difficult one then Killie at home then its the international break. So should only miss 4 games....could have missed 7 or 8 had it been later in season
-
Didnt watch it all but I cant say i found her patronising. Very complimentary about us
-
His name was mentioned on the Hat a couple of days ago guy said we were in for him. He was decent for Hearts last season before getting injured so would be happy with this one if it has legs

It has been an extraordinarily easy draw they have been handed. I think the Maribor tie could go either way, i'd hazard a guess they will both win their home ties sadly expect sevco to win theirs by a bigger margin than Maribor do. Next round its either Progres or Ufa. Ufa it is then....know sfa about them other than they will be far too good for Luxembourg's 4th best side. And hopefully sevco too.... -

Because its sevco. SFA will find a way of reducing it to a yellow. I'd guess sevco will show the McKenna barges as "evidence" of provocation and moan about our guy getting away with it whilst theirs got punished.....FWIW McKenna was lucky not to have been caught as for either offence he would have been booked but as far as I know he cannot be punished retrospectively. You are correct though it was violent conduct by Morelos and warranted a red. I just have no confidence that our authorities will not try anything they can to assist sevco. -

Sadly I think its a banker it will be overturned. Despite it being absolutely warranted when you take the rules to the letter of the law. -

They did indeed. By my reckoning those c@nts now have 3 more left backs than we do strikers (not counting Anderson as one of our first team squad just yet)......This new Croatian boy, Flanagan, Declan John, Wallace and Hodson. Tick fuckin tock -
Can't say I'd apportion any blame on Joe for their goal. The ball was played over the top of our centre halves who let their centre forward bustle through the middle of them so didn't cover themselves in glory. Joe managed to narrow the angle and delayed a shot coming in but ultimately the blame lies with the midfield and Shinnie in particular who were caught way upfield and when Shinnie lost possession we were wide open to the quick counter attack.

Surely to f@ck the last thing sevco need is another midfielder, far less the ageing blob of lard that Adam has become. Hope to hell they do sign him though, every extra wage is another step to their financial demise. -
Depends on Hoban I guess, there's been no indication of what his problem is or for how long he will be out. We all knew we needed a full back anyway, left sided preferably, having Dundee this week probably means we could take a punt on young Harrington at right back but we definitely need someone in before the Hibs game on the 25th and we also have to hope that neither Devlin or Consi cop an injury or else we could be in really deep shit.

I'd far rather DM keeps his puss shut but ensures the players got out and prove Gerrard wrong next time we face them -

Sadly Gerrard was absolutely correct from what I saw of the game. We conceded a penalty against 10 men who passed the ball far better than we did, gave our backline far more problems than we did theirs and seemed to win more 50/50 balls. First I've seen of Gleeson....not impressed. Ball....how come the fans can all see he is not a right back but McInnes can't baffles me. Cosgrove....slated again but very little service. And we obviously struggle defensively against the ball over the top. Even with McKenna before his injury. And Shinnie is starting to be a liability in midfield....tries to drive us forward but losing possession too often high up leaving the oppo midfield huge amounts of space to exploit on a quick counter attack. We need a new striker in this week. Everyone pray that Preston get a striker or 2 in before the English transfer window shuts as apparently Moult WILL be allowed to leave if they get their targets in. -

Stopped watching after 55 minutes, now watching women's gymnastics. If I'm going to watch fannies flying around they may as well have nice looking faces -
Shankland has found his level no more. Might do a job for Dundee but won't improve us
