Reekie_Red
Just listened to JC's post-match summary. He's basically saying the team's performance against Celtic has made his selection choices for the Madrid game "very easy" as he is now looking at chucking a stack of first-choice players onto the bench and into the stand. Fuckin hope so! Give the likes of Aluko, Maguire and JDV a start against a team who will, without a doubt, be our best opposition this season. They'll love it, facing quality players and hopefully learning a thing or two from playing against them. Half our first-team doesn't deserve to play in Spain. I just hope JC sticks by his words. With luck, we won't see players like Clark getting a look-in to this game. Infact, just gie him a "Look In" magazine and chuck him in the stands. That'd be best for all concerned. glasgow sheep
brilliant, he suddenly realises what we have all known for weeks just before our trip to Madrid. Then the lads battle hard but ultimately fail, not least as they haven't played 90mins never mind 90mins with the same players/formation and are al then hooked for the hibs game
Guest Ewetoob
Does this mean he wont pick numbers and positions out of a hat for the team on thursday then?

manc_don
Look what happened when the second string played against Dungdee Utd at home? I say get them in on Thursday. We're highly unlikely to take anything from the game anyway, so lets play the so-called fringe players and rest the under performing "big names". I totally agree with this, we might as well get the best out of the whole experience. But our tube of a manager will not do this. Twat. Reekie_Red
Does this mean he wont pick numbers and positions out of a hat for the team on thursday then? Probably still do that but might miss a couple of the numbers out JC already does this. He chucks 22 names into a hat and picks them out randomly. Thats how he picks his team for each week. It just so happens that, whether he picks number 1, 17, 22 or a bit of fluff out first ... the first name out of the hat is ALWAYS Chris Clark.
