Reading on Twitter that in Brown's interview with ITV Wales he said it'll be a great distraction from club matters to be away with Wales.

 

 

Also added that if he plays it'll be a good chance to be in the shop window.

Agreed but genuine competition for the no1 spot would be of great benefit.  A keeper that actually comes of his line would enable our defence to play a bit higher which would suit our style of play a lot better.

I have no problem with identifying a long-term recruit for the summer, and concentrating on getting the defender we need so as to qualify for europe and make recruiting easier. 

Broon (old) in the paper this morning saying they have targets in mind but new keeper does not need to be signed before window shuts as there are players out of contract.

Agreed. I'd even go so far as to pitch Rogers in against St Mirren a week on Saturday.

 

We can get an emergency loan if necessary, no point changing keeper midway through the season when there'll be many more out of contract in the summer.
