I am not happy because I didn’t got the chance to play. I am still positive because my chance will come. I train intensive. I was very glad with the support  of the players from Aberdeen. Everybody told the trainer they would like to see me playing.

Someone needs to tell him it's not how talented a footballer you are if you want to get a game. It's all about how much of a laugh you are in the dressing room. Derek youngs a riot 'apparently' thats the only reason he's getting a game.

Nice to hear of someone wanting to play for a change and not trying to get a move elsewhere.

Come on he must realise we are inundated with creative, skilful wingers such as Derek Young, Jamie Smith and Chris Maguire.....did he just think he would waltz into the team past them lot?

I'm glad he isn't happy. It means he's seen just how utterly hopeless our team is, and thinks he's being shafted when he can't even get on ahead of any of that feckless lot.

Never saw this JDV guy play so i cant comment on his ability but im well impressed with the fact that hes pissed off about not getting a start , can you imagine what the rest of the team would be like if they had JDVs mentality !

He did alright preseason against highland league teams. But if he cant get a game ahead of dung is he actually that good?

im not going tae read to much into that , it beggars belief that Dung is back at AFC but i dont think it will be too long before hes on his way again and hopefully hell take Byrne with him to

He will get his chance when fully fit.

I read somewhere he had been promised 45 minutes against Motherwell, but then didn't get on at all, thus bringing about his unhappiness. Problem is, i can see him playing tonight, and he'll obviously be far from match fit, so why didn't he get a chance vs Well at the expense of Mackie? Same goes for Aluko (although i've heard he's picked up a knock now anyway).

all this promise from JC that JDV was the next best thing and he still wont play the guy.

Agree with Vanderark14, he needa a couple of games to settle into the team. Dont think Caldo did any wrong in not playing him against Dnipro. A chance to shine and prove a point against supposedly inferior opposition should get him at least in contention for a regular place.

 

I'd guess we can expect to see JDV play this weekend - Lesser opponent, not tired from Ukraine,...
