Unfortunately Strachan is away from Boro.

Is the draw tomorrow?

Tuesday 2.30pm

The half time interval hasn't done us any favours.

Can't get going this half and Pawlett is leaving our left side exposed all the time.

A cracking sportscene highlights for the neutral on the cards

7 games

7 goals

4 of them at Pittodrie

2 of them at Links Park

5-0 now

2-1 Pars as well.

Hibs drew 0-0 with Ayr  ???

2-0 Caley V Elgin.

Great stuff. Glad Magennis managed to sneak one. Well done Broon and team!

He was due a goal.  He could have had  a couple in the last few weeks but his confidence was so low, hopefully he will now gain some confidence and become a regular on the score sheet.

Decent enough game. Was more like a training match though.

Considine looked like he has found his level finally.

Vernon is a donkey.

Pittodrie is fucking cold.

It always was. Maybe Loirston will be warmer and more sheltered from the North Sea breezes.

What a load of nonsense.

Only thing you said that was true is that Pittodrie is fucking cold.

Not at all. When we could be bothered raising our game and having a go at them we were all over them, when we didn't they were all over us.

Considine was excellent in the first half, but made a few shitty errors in the second.

Vernon missed 3 or 4 absolute sitters.

No pleasing some people  ???

To be fair, obviosly I wasn't at the game so can't really judge, but from what commentary we had, it did seem like Vernon missed 3 sitters, including one from a yard out  :-\

Still, a good win and we're in the hat for the next round. That is all that matters :)

I'd quite like to hear about the one from a yard out, the guy on the radio made it sound like Vernon had made a goal line clearance when he was trying to score with his head. Brown in the interview said something similar.

Again I wasn't at the game so can't comment but any player who can be a donkey and still score two goals in a game sounds fine by me.

Vernon did miss a couple of sitters but I'd still say donkey is harsh.

Not a great performance from anyone but 6-0 cant really be complained about, good to see bebo getting his first professional hatrick.

And it was fucking baltic!!

Not sure why the new left back didn't get a run out, or place on the bench (unless i missed his name on the sheet?). If he's fit and isn't coming on as a sub at 4 or 5 up against east fife, then what's he here for?

I'll assume you're not fishing so I'll answer.

Capaldi is honouring the last few games with Morecambe he has left. Anderson may not play this season. Brown is more giving him a six month trial.

I disagree with the training match comment. Yes there were mistakes and it probably could have been 8 or 9 instead of 6, but lets not take away from what was a good afternoon's football, and all credit to Langfield who was definitely playing for the shirt today - without question!!

The quality of play was such that I forgot how cold it was!!

:AFC2: :AFC2:

Not sure I could disagree more, delighted by the result but to suggest that it was a good performance is a pretty big stretch of the imagination.

First half we played well enough, second half was just pish but happy with us getting 6 goals.
