Managers in England

Utterly disposable, Brian Laws and Darren Ferguson binned today.

16 out of 90 odd clubs binned their manager this season! McGhee has a wikipedia record, got to be in with a shout to get sacked too?

Ryan Mason has been sacked by West Brom. Please let him get the Celtic job, with a name like that.

  • Absolutely shocking Seem to have ideas above their station. Happily see them relegated next season

So do they now appoint an interim interim manager?

Except he didn’t get to the end of the season. Sacked today.

Poor blokes Dad died just last weekend too.

Possibly wanted out.

I see lots of parallels with Spurs and us. Well run off the field, but a basket case football wise.

Absolute basket case of a club

They are the English version of us. Has been that way for many a year. Not sure we're not a basket case of a club either in all honesty.

We at least waited 6 months before binning a manager who had just won us a cup for the first time in ages 2bf.

My mate supports Aberdeen & Spurs.

Last May was one of the best months of his life.

This May might be the worst 😬

De Zerbi on a 5 year contract at Spurs. That's an expensive payout come November

Bournemouth manager Iraola has announced he is leaving at the end of the season.

Apparently being replaced by Marco Rose who was at RB Leipzig last season.

Liam Rosenior has been handed his P45 at Chelsea.

4 months into a 6.5 year deal. Going to be some pay off.

Clears the way for him to come to Pittodrie and appoint his mate Shinnie as assistant 😉

I think with the aforementioned pay off from Chelsea, he could buy the club.

That's better still 😉

Scott Parker sacked by Burnley following their relegation.

Bit odd as Parker has decent record of getting teams promoted out of English Championship.

I suspect it's his getting clubs relegated to the Championship record that has prompted this.

If that’s the case then surely the time to sack him was Christmas but now they are down they probably would be better keeping him to get promoted again then punting him.

Maybe he will get the Spurs job next season

For the whole season, or just at the business end when it looks like they might not make the playoffs?

That's twice he's spurned the chance to manage Aberdeen, disappointing lack of ambition.

A lot of managers start off learning their craft at wee teams before they take on the big jobs.

English press reporting Pep Guardiola stepping down at the end of the season. Seems a bit odd announcing it before season is over.

He'll be getting out before they are found guilty of those 115 charges. He obviously doesn't fancy managing them in the 4th division next season.

The timing of this is shocking, now we'll have to spend a fortune paying Robinson's contract off
