Oooft!!

Didn't know this!

I'd have been turning up fashionably late like I did at their Homecoming gig.  Went along to that at around 9pm to find there was no queue on the door and walked in to hear Bobby announce "this is our last one, thanks for coming".

It had kicked off hours beforehand and the bar had been free all night.  *massiveheadslap*

Sony confirm re-release of Screamadelica.

http://www.nme.com/news/primal-scream/53895

Primal Scream's seminal 1991 album is set to be reissued next year, freshly remastered by the band, original producer Andrew Weatherall and My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields.

The reissue will be out on March 7 on the 20th anniversary year of the record's original release.

A collectors' edition of the album will come with four remastered CDs and a gatefold vinyl release of the band's 'Live In LA, 1991' set. A CD of remixes by contributers including Andrew Weatherall will be included, plus a remastered version of their 'Dixie-Narco' EP.

A half-hour documentary DVD, The Making Of 'Screamadelica', will also be included, as well as a 50-page book including a contribution from Loaded's founding editor James Brown.

Just an amazing night.

Easily one of the top three gigs I've ever been to.

Sounded pretty good on 6Music.

Might have to get myself along to the SECC in March now.
