It's pay at the gate. If you want to take her to a classy establishment pre-match then you should go to the Alamo.

nice one. how far is the alamo from the ground?

The Alamo is certainly one way of showing your bird a Scottish atmosphere  :-[

I'm going to the Alamo, its ace.

Just noticed today we are playing on Tuesday.

Very much doubt she'll witness what a real atmosphere is like on Tuesday night.

Think we'll struggle to have 500 there, and can't see total crowd exceeding 4,000  :(

We took close to a thousand down last season for a midweek game did we not? After yesterday then I think we will take the same sort of crowd down, mind you don't know what the weather is going to be like the now..

I was at that game and not sure if it was a thousand but no real atmosphere at the game, most of the turn out was probably from the central belt where we have a healthy support

A lot of us have already travelled to this game once. It'll be quite a small crowd.

Depending on what time we arrive it'll be the Weatherspoons at the train station or the Alamo.

If you're going to take her to the Alamo, you should phone ahead and book a table so you and her can get a nice meal before the game. Their food really is to die for.

I won't be at the game though, I limit myself to one trip to Paisley a season.

Ha ha dave_min thats just cruel :D

Edit: on a side note, its a Shite ground and no atmosphere at all. I was cold as Fuck when i went last season.

Was at that game also, very much doubt there was as many as 1,000 Dons at it.

Anyone remember what was unique about that game  ;)

Tommy Wright right wrong?

Tommy Wright right wrong?

I think you've got it!

I think you're right that I'm not wrong. How many has Tyson Wright scored anyway?

Was a great header its got to be said. Only other thing was our absymal attempt at winning the game.

Tommy Wright right wrong?

Spot on.....such a rare event, not exactly something you'd forget in a hurry

In fairness it was a peach of a header

Only other memorable thing from that night for me, was the fact it took me 90 mins to get back down the M77 because of the snow

The snow flakes were gigantic!

How big?

Aye, that and Wrights goal were the only memorable things about that game. Though I recall Ajja maintaining that it was a fluke.

Mackie had a belter of a sitter after a brilliant run by Aluko.

And there was an utter shambles before the game as you couldn't just pay at the gate, had to queue up at their box office which only had one person working at it.

It was always like that at Love Street too whenever I went there, always seemed to work pretty well too.

there was a huge queue last time, everyone getting pissed off cos it was snowing and obviously very cold then the police got involved and things started moving.

The stands are all of 5 rows deep as well...

I still maintain it was not the incredible precision header it was heralded as. Not sure I went as far as 'fluke'.

I do remember an exceptional attempt at proving how to look utterly lost in a full back position by a certain young man that night.
