Dons V St. Johnstone

Surely to feck this is one we've got to win? McGhee said in the paper the other day that he reckons we'll have to do something we've not done at Pittodrie yet this season - score twice. We all know St. Johnstone have been playing well. They're no mugs and we're.. well, shite. But a home game against St. Johnstone (even though the fixture thing at the bottom of the forum said it was away) is a game we should be fucking winning. We need to be attacking from the off and not play it like another fucking away game.

Not sure about the injury situation other than Fyvie's definately out. Kerr and MacDonald have some big shoes to fill!

Mon the Dons.

Apart from the spells when Iwas just about crapping myself towards the end I really enjoyed the game. Shame Paton's effort came back off the woodwork, would have been some goal.

Reckon Pawlett was taken off because he was on a booking and the ref was having another howler, so maybe "safety first" from McGhee?

So that's 3 wins on my last 3 visits to Pittodrie............hmmmmmm

Well taken goal from Aluko, Pawlett has got some set of afterburners, though it was St Johnstone, not the quickest I expect.

Sounds like we were unfortunate not to have scudded them early on, post and crossbar too.

The pen? Can't really see much but Miller definitely has his arm across the fella. Nice to see a wee ref's decision go our way though.

I didn't really ask you to care I was merely saying what I saw from the highlights.

Indeed. Maybe for once you shouldn't take it so personally?  Just a thought, like...

Anyone's opinion.  It's not that hard to understand.

Well, apparently it is, but you know what i mean...

yeah, cos i was clearly the one gettin worked up etc and so on and so forth..

Fucking calm down  ;)

I didn't think it was a pen, but as you say "who cares"

WTF the fuck is going on with Donstalk? Looks like jimbo and BB are about to do a 'fatshaft'.  ;)

I would never "shaft fat" like that....

I didn't think either of us were particularly worked up.

I expressed my opinion then you expressed yours. Then I reiterated mine then you yours.

I then said that my opinion wasn't asking for you to care and you felt that I had taken your opinion personally.

I then joked that you needed to chill in a jokey fashion and you lost the plot. ;)

Crikey.

No, seriously....

;)

if only....

I am digressing a bit here but every week when I watch X Factor I think of you Jim - you don't happen to have an afro wig do you  ;D

The only curly hair I have is my pubes.

He looks nothing like me and I am probably a better singer.

However I am not taking it personally.

You might not be talking to me because you know my real name.

Maybe you should have said @fatjim.

I am now gonna be thinking of that next Saturday night  :-*

I do know your real name but I thought that was our secret  ;)

Why wait until saturday?

Ok I'll maybe think of it right now............................

Back to the match........apologies if mentioned elswhere, but Mackie's "slow-mo" drag back just before he hit the post  :o

Genius or what?  ;D

Apart from the sitter he missed i thought he was pretty good yesterday

We still have the undeniable ability to make everything as fucking hard as possible! Delighted with the 3 points obviously but for fuck FFS! We seemed absolutely determind to let them equalise again!

Anyway. Some real encouraging performances starting to come through so that's good. I thought Miller started off looking more interested but then seemed to get bored and once again stopped trying. Was lucky to win a penalty the way he did.. the amount of times he falls over it was always going to happen eventually I suppose.

Great 3 points. We really needed to get back to winning games, and obviously score more than one goal. It was highly frustrating listening, and I can only imagine it must have been even worse watching it! Still, great teamwork for the first goal, and we had a number of chances to kill off the game. Paton's shot was fantastic!

Good weekend all round for Aberdeen, Rob Roy Reds beat HIVs 4-0 :)

Mackie on this week's Showboat?

Well the sitter he missed and the time he was clean through and got tackled by the pitch.

But yeah, despite that, and the comments of many around me, he did ok when he came on.  Clearly lacking in confidence/skill but no surprise there.

What sitter are you talking about? I didnt see a sitter for anyone in the game

Clean through and probablt hit some bloke in the south-its was an awful miss but i think he should get a start against well

I can't remember any 'sitter' as such.  ???

Almost as far off target as his penalty against Queens Park

That wasn't a sitter, it was a clear cut chance, he still had some work to do but Mackie lacked composure, I thought he played well enough when he was on.
