Fixtures Season 2009/2010

Who's wanting who for the first game of the season? Im hoping for St Johnstone or them from Govan away as I have the day off work. In fact anyone away will do me fine but those 2 would be my first choices. If its a home game hopefully United. Dont know why but I'd like to see them being first up here

They will prob get moved to a tues night?? As most mid week games we played last season got moved.

With only distance to stop me I might even get to a few games this season.

Maybe not a good thing given my recent record of games attended ::)

In which round do we enter the league cup? In bygone years, the Euro representatives got in in round three, but as there's so many of us this season, will it make any difference?

I think it's still rd 3

Pretty sure they did some jiggery pokery with the set up this year because of six (!) Euro reps. but we enter at the third round along with Rangers, Celtic, etc.

I think we can be reasonably happy with that start. The Celtic game should be a cracker, especially given what has happened with McGhee over the summer. With a (likely) full house, think we can get at least a point in that one. The four games after are all winnable, so we should be in a very healthy position after the first five games :)

i just hope its better than the last time a new Aberdeen manager came up against a new celtic manager on the opening day of the season at pittodrie

St Johnstone and St Mirren enter at round one because there's so many teams in Europe.
