Might have been for a city clash, mind, but I cba checking more. UEFA Cup rules PDF also states ties are determined by draw and mentions nowhere about the seeded team away first. Meh, checked a few more: Djurgårdens IF (seeded) were away 2nd while Man City (also seeded) were away first. Quote

I seem to remember that 50% of seeded teams are home first and 50% are away first. No pattern, just a random 50/50 split. Guess that means we have a 50% chance of getting away first Quote

Cannot see it being a problem getting in there if we were to draw them. Quote
