Exactly didn’t qualify for 28 years yet what’s changed they certainly don’t concentrate on technical ability in players.

As Ah commented followin' the Haiti game ... 'shades o' 74' ..... That was the game we needed tae score mair than 1 goal. Brazil ranked 6, Morocco ranked 7 .... Haiti ranked 83? ... Scots ranked 42. We were always gonna struggle v the top 2, so it was vital we 'built a cushion' v Haiti.

In 74, we beat Zaire 2-0 .... and resorted tae time wastin' the last chunk o' the game ... somehow thinkin' we'd done enough. Do we ever learn?

Pass marks for Ferguson, that lad stepped up and really tried. Good world cup for him. The rest were shit. Doak shit himself and was a complete non factor, mcginn rarely involved, and mctom mediocre at best. Shankland hardly touched the ball but long ball to one up top says a lot.
