Aberdeen v Hibernian

Stephen Robinson's Big Red Juggernaut continues its journey to the Championship on Saturday 11th April with a 3 pm kick-off at Pittodrie when Hibernian come up to bag themselves an easy three points.

I fancy us to surrender meekly once again to a 0-3 defeat, with the players having blethered a lot of pish to the media about "putting in a shift" and "rewarding the excellent fans" in midweek.

Bunch of c*nts that they are. Aye, the players, nae the fans.

My pants are a bit less sodden than usual this week. There's still some way to go before I will feel confident about wearing light coloured trousers, though.

It’s crazy that we are hurting so badly in center mid. We allowed Clarkson polvara aouchiche and sivert leave, all who were not long term for us, but would probably start ahead of most of what we have

It has certainly been a horrible place for fans to come to for a while!

Fck that was lucky

Idiot

Let off at the end but ffs, Jensen should have made it two!

hope we keep this up second half. Concerned for gyamfi lasting the second half as he’s prone to a brain fart, plus not the quickest. Maybe topi left wing back, or lobban right and move Jensen over?

Should be out of sight but we aren't. On the plus side we are the least worse side today so far. You still get the feeling that one will not be enough though.

Ref falling for the rubber legs gamesmanship every time. I call it cheating.

Anyone else think the Hanley red card was a touch harsh?

Much better half. Night and day from last couple of games.

Defence not been under much pressure, mainly because we’ve had far better control in midfield. Press has been excellent (Aremu very good) and winning plenty second balls which we’ve just not been doing this season.

Olusanya isn’t a footballer, but he’s worked his arse off, put himself about and been a real nuisance - in this league that counts for a lot.

Long way to go, but much better so far. Just don’t do anything stupid lads - yes Gyamfi, I’m looking at you…

Obviously there's the caveat of a penalty and red card, but even 11 v 11 I'd be confident we'd be encouraged by the first half.

Hibs are trying to play out from the back  (maybe because of the red card) and it's allowing us to press them into trouble. Armstrong and Cameron's movement been good. The two up front working to an extent.

Olusanya a funny one. His work rate causes problems, he's good foil for Nisbet, but inside the box he's not a goalscorer. Twice he's actually got into a good position and looks like his first thought is to hit it off a defender and win a corner.

Gyamfi a bit of a liability, and not just because of the VAR incident at the end there. Also shoved the defender over for no reason earlier in the game. I would put Shinnie at LWB in the second half.

Not in my view

Took him down and clear goal scoring opportunity

Nope. Hanley got bullied, Rugby tackled him and denied a clear goalscoring opportunity.

As clear a red as you’ll see…

No. He grabbed his ankle on purpose hoping he would get away with it.

Only got one look at it, got a lot on today, but it looked to me to be he took him down by falling over himself.   Obviously delighted it was a red

No. Trips his ankle then grabs it for good measure.

Should be an extra punishment of him not being in Scotland's World Cup squad.

Olusanya would be some player if he actually knew what to do when he has the football at his feet.

No, fouled him and then grabbed his ankle to make sure he stayed down

Danger of letting them back into this.

YYYAAAASSSS!!!! 2-0 .... Nisbet.

Yaaaas min. Nisbet min.

Gotta love VAR, but fuck me ref that was miles over the line…

The Balmediocrity Hun cunt has equalised for TMSTID which pops Killie’s balloon a tad. The banner when the weasely cunt left, lest we forget…

Elvis is in the building 😉

Gyamfi, apart from his brain fart when he was lucky not to see red, has in my opinion had his best game in an Aberdeen shirt.

Aremu and Jensen also had a pretty decent game.

First time in a long while that I believe we can escape the play off position. The team fought for everything today and deserved the three points. As long as the tombola is locked away from Robinson. Burn it.

Due to that win we are also safe from automatic relegation. It just get  better!

Didn’t see where a win was coming from today. Thank you Grant Hanley for giving us that early boost:

Much needed win and results went our way. Thought gyamfi and aremu did well today.

Much, much better.

Called out the wing back selections afore the game but fair play, they were both very good.

We won that game in the middle though. Even before the red, we were controlling it.

Aremu very good in the holding role today, liked what I saw. The rest of the midfield all put in a shift, pressed well, won second balls, good stuff.

Couple of goals for Nisbet too disna do ony harm.

Takes a bit of pressure off, but still work to do. Lets batter Killie next week then we can all relax a bit more.

Well done all today though…
