But you can’t argue he didn’t have an influence on last season, and has been more impactful than others.

I'm not.

But there's a big leap between "has made an impact" to "only Nisbet and Miovski have been better than him".

Nisbet is a frustrating player.  10 Scotland caps five years ago, if he had been doing things properly he should have had 50 caps by now and been away to the world cup.  Both Adams and Dykes are around the 50 cap mark.  He must look at Shankland and wonder how he has been overtaken by him and others in the pecking order.  It is not like our national side is blessed with a lot of striking talent.

He needs to do way more and more consistently to get into the equation. It’s a shame, I was hoping he might start to kick on in the latter part of the season but it never happened. You’d like to hope that missing out on the squad should be a kick up the arse.

I still cannot believe that the club think that Olusanya is the answer. Folk hiding behind his stat that he had two assists, it hides the fact that he was absolutely horseshite for the rest. Gueye actually scored goals, created and was a legit madman. This guy has none of that. Admittedly he draws fouls but I think that’s due to clumsiness more than anything else. In summary? I’m no happy 😂

92/93 season AFC top scorers:

Shearer 27

Paatelainen 20

Booth 19

Jess 16

And we didn’t win anything…

Scored 87 goals in the league and not one penalty given for us. Let that sink in. I was/am always furious about that

What a fucking line up.

We'd romp the league now with that four in the line up.

We'll never see that again.

Those numbers are just beyond comprehension.

The day of the cup final was the day of my final exam at university. I ran home, grabbed my stuff and caught a train to Edinburgh. No ticket - just wanted to be able to watch it on tv.

Two tinnies in on the train I realised I’d answered the exam question completely wrong.

And we lost.

I still can’t believe we lost that cup final. We played them off the park.

Total carnage outside

We played them off the park a number of times that year but Goram was our nemesis in a few games

Yeah the one we lost at Pittodrie when Stench scored was probably Gorams best game for the Huns

That was shooty in for 90 mins and we just couldn’t squeeze the ball round the fat bastard
