He can get fucked. 1 hour ago, Slim said: I can live with signing him. Loaning is out of the question. Dear old Dons Daft would be going apoplectic at this use of various tenses of the verb (or gerund) 'loan' being applied to the receiver, rather than correctly using the verb 'borrow'. That said, he was rather prone to losing his shit when it was also being applied as a noun - in which case loan was (and is) a perfectly acceptable term when speaking about givers and receviers. Ah DD, how worked up you got over nothing Quote

But with a suitable re-education process, perhaps a tattoo of Willie Miller and a promise to celebrate every goal against them by walking slowly towards them arms horizontal in front with hands bent downwards at the wrists and then genuflecting on his knees in front of them, I’d give it a go. Heresy I know. Oh and a 30 minute RedTV interview where he confesses his crimes and swears on his mother’s life his agent made him do it. And maybe 10% of all future earnings going to a fund used to eradicate Hun supporting in the NE via a school based “education “ programme. Slight upgrade but still a no from me. Given how poorly he did for them if he is best played on the last man in a team under pressure do we want him if we think we'll improve? Quote
Slim Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Bromley fans don't seem to be particularly bothered: Quote

We're signing players who could be decent for us - Ronan, Briedl and the Killie lads. We've a few young players with potential like Frame, Lobban and Keskinen. However, you need a Miovski or a Claudio Braga to elevate you to a different level. Would it be any different to Hayes coming back from Celtic, or Archie Knox winning titles at Rangers? Or how we feel about Snelders or Neale Cooper? We don't hate Celtic like we do the Huns and no-one could blame Hayes for wanting to play in the CL for his boyhood club. He had given us phenomenal service and he wasn't sleekit about it either. Re Knox it's a bit different with coaches. Snelders I never blamed at all because he was frozen out by Aitken who seemed to think Watt was better (fucking clown). What a shock that Walter Smith had a better eye for a goalie than Aitken. Cooper I don't know, I wasn't really a football fan at the time so don't know how it was received. I would also add Aluko to this list. I never gave him a hard time about going there as he had been OOC for a good few months and a man has to eat. Miovski is different because he bawled his eyes out, kissed the badge and then took to Instagram to say "moving forward I'll be the clubs biggest fan" which no-one forced him to do. Then he signs for them in less than a year. It's certainly the biggest slap in the face I've ever had from a player in my years as a fan. All that said, and as I mentioned a month or so ago here, prolific goalscorers are the easiest players to forgive and if he was to come back I know I'm fickle enough to forgive (though never forget) all sins pretty quickly if he's rattling them in.
