Squads are built in many ways so there’s a role for guys like olusanya imo.

Was glass half empty with the Killie 2 but again read the arguments for and thought at least Mayo could be an upgrade on what we have

the Austrian lad will go one of 2 ways and hopefully he is the disciplined defensive midfielder we have needed

then my optimism sank when news said the deal to sign Olusanya was close

yes the lad can put himself about, is fast and did actually provide goals in some shape or form, but fuck me he isn’t a footballer

if you wanted chaos and strength we may as well try to get Pape back because he offered that and was more of a footballer and goal threat than Olusanya will ever be

Maybe with a full close season under his belt and some real time on the training pitch with the management and coaching team he’ll realise he’s not a footballer and go and get a job as an estate agent or summink.

I was hoping that was the plan for Milanovic

I am not disagreeing that as part of a squad a guy that has pace , strength and can cause chaos isn’t a bad option, just feel there are possibly others out there that can offer that but can also offer more

Sounds like two very professional players in mayo and lyons, both leaders and standard setters. Every team needs balance, skill, flair, muscle etc, these guys both bring qualities we sadly lack. No judgement from me until the summer signings are complete and we see a more realistic picture of what we expect from them.

Exactly. He proved he can have a positive impact on our team, certainly contributed more than  yengi Ambrose and lazetic. Reminds me of Darren mackie, different type of player obviously, but has his limitations yet will provide value to a squad. Don’t want him as a starting player, I don’t see him as good enough, we certainly need a new legit 9 to compete with nisbet. But for those who don’t rate him, he’s already shown us that he has something to offer, can have an impact, and having signed Ambrose yengi and lazetic, we could certainly do better but also do a lot worse.

we certainly need to offload those three.

Cannot say I like either of the two signings announced today but they are the type of players I feared Robinson would sign. Back to celebrating mediocrity.

After the amount of cash that the Swedish neep wasted on transfers then it is no surprise that these are the sort of signings that Robinson has no choice but to go after.

lets get behind him and support them all and see what happens.

way too early for negativity

Wouldn't that just be a Swede?

Why is it too early for negativity?  The predictions that Robinson would turn us into something like St Mirren are coming true.
