Certainly for goalie it was usually stop gaps and injury cover (and yes they were horrible in the main). Instead we took the easy option of new contracts and stuck with the status quo as making up the numbers was good enough for Milne. But hey, as the late queen once said, recollections may differ. I agree with your last paragraph which also describes Gogic perfectly, a guy who’s been a far better performer in this league than Olusanya will ever be.
