Jute Posted December 31, 2025 Author Report Posted December 31, 2025 Last of the group games today. First up are Group E at 4pm Equatorial Guinea v Algeria Sudan v Burkina Faso Algeria have won the group already as they have head to head over Sudan and Burkina Faso. Sudan and Burkina Faso are already through as they have head to head on Equatorial Guinea so just final placings of 2nd or 3rd to sort. 7pm games are last in Group F Gabon v Ivory Coast Mozambique v Cameroon Only final placings to be decided in this group as Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Mozambique are all already through. If Ivory Coast need a win and keep goal difference advantage over Cameroon to win the Group. Cameroon need to either win by 1 more goal than Ivory Coast or hope Ivory Coast don’t win to win the group. Mozambique need to beat Cameroon and hope Gabon get at least a draw again Ivory Coast for them to win the group. Quote

Entire coaching team at all levels of football sacked as well. Thinking someone in the government lost a fortune on them. Quote
Jute Posted Saturday at 22:23 Author Report Posted Saturday at 22:23 Senegal 3-1 winners over Sudan in early game. Mali beat Tunisia on penalties in second game. Mali down to 10 from half way through the first half. Tunisia looked liked they had won it in last minute of normal time only for Mali to be awarded a soft penalty (a recurring theme in AFCON this year) in 6th minute of injury time to make it 1-1 and take it to extra time. No goals in extra time and on to penalties which Mali managed to win 3-2 by missing less. 1 Quote

Jute Posted 19 hours ago Author Report Posted 19 hours ago Morocco pushed all the way by Tanzania before a goal keeping error (sound familiar) handed Morocco a 1-0 win. Quote
Jute Posted 17 hours ago Author Report Posted 17 hours ago Cameroon book their place in quarters against Morocco following 2-1 win over South Africa. Entertaining game with Cameroon almost chucking away a 2-0 lead at the end. Quote
