Aberdeen v FC Noah

European fitba returns to the Cathedral of Football on Thursday 27th November at 8 pm when Aberdeen host Armenian side FC Noah in the UEFA Conference League.

Our guests are a fairly new club, formed in 2017 as FC Artsakh. They changed their name to FC Noah after the fella with the ark from the Bible in 2019. They won the Armenian double last season and have a respectable record in Europe in recent years.

They are not to be underestimated, but I still fancy a home win. 2-0 to Aberdeen.

1-0 at half time. Pleased with that. We’ve shown a fair amount of control and the pressing has been good. Let’s have a bit more of the same.

One shot on target, one goal. hopefully put it to bed second half

Nice goal, well done Topi (first time I think Ive ever seen him body someone) and a very tidy finish fae Nisbet - hopefully that’s him up and running.

Outside that it’s been pretty dismal though, it’s genuinely incredible how few chances we create in so many games, I really don’t get what JT’s setting up to do a lot of the time.

Still, a good goal and something to build on second half…

Had no idea fit to expect fae this mob but they've not shown they're any better than a team like Falkirk. Maybe they'll turn up second half?

Smart goal.

Great goal from only piece of quality play in a pretty dull first half.

Was starting to wonder if the seven hour round trip was going to be worth it as team didn't turn up and it was so flat for so long and then.....

More of that in the second half and getting home at 2am will have been worth it.

Sadly neither have we. I hope the goal gives our striker a bit of confidence. We are so infuriating going forward. No composure and little skill on show. Maybe that will change if we can get another.

So chuffed Nisbet got a goal

Sadly that is a cutting edge we do not have.

Midfield all over the shop. Acres of room in the middle. Then Devlin just lets their boy run away from him.

Just honking stuff…

Second half has been poor. They change formation with the sub  and got the goal we have made 4 subs but kept same formation and so far producing the same results.

As Michael stewart says,we offer nothing attack wise down the left. And too many square pegs in round holes

LObban off Milanovic on? WTF??

Oh FFS MIlanovic pathetic

Sorry but that Milanovic is absolutely gash.

Aussie player of the year? 😳

That league must be Sunday Welfare level…

\Milanovic is dogshit

Is Armstrong drunk?

A disgraceful second half showing yet again. Thelin makes terrible decisions and is turning us into a turgid, slow, ugly, cynical football team. I really can't see where any improvement is going to come from. Every team we play appear to be able to pass the ball better than us.

Square peg round hole as has been said. No natutal width or wing play. Create so little, but two of our best chances fall to milanovic who looks like he should be on the same team as Ambrose. Dire stuff.

Example there of what Jensen gets pelters for.

There was absolutely nobody ahead of him or a player moving for a pass. He’ll no doubt have got abuse though.

I don't understand why he gets singled out. Even when it's nae working out for him he's still a grafter.

Bit of a horror show fae Armstrong, nae the first time. Pretty meek performance overall.
