OrlandoDon Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Honestly, Celtic is prob the best match to get them some fitness, rather than a tough st mirren away or utd etc where we really need to win. Sadly, expectations are low and Celtic is a free hit. Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago I take it this loon Tom McIntyre, isn't a relation of Tommy McIntyre, who was either a youth player, or he signed for us in the 80s? I think Tommy ended up with Hibs. Quote

Ideally we'd be giving them a couple of weeks to settle. Just the way of it I guess. While that's definitely true, it seems like we're pretty much in tear it all down and start again mode so one step back to take two forward is going to have to happen eventually. Plus a sizeable proportion of our fans will decide certain players are shite for all sorts of reasons so that's probably going to happen anyway. 1 Quote
Mason89 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Of course they’re shite. If they were any good, they wouldn’t be here. It’s only a matter of how shite they are & can they compete with the rest of the shite in the league COYR Quote
blinlemon Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I heard on the morning news that the Balmedie Weasel, formerly of the stinkies and Blues of Birmingham signed for Dundee overnight. This was the banner claes-pegged up on Pittodrie Street when the fucker left. As I recall, we did a deal to keep McCrorie and let the Hun join the Huns at their bigoted sash palace. I trust that he’ll get a warm welcome when we next play TMSTID? 3 Quote

tlg1903 Posted 55 minutes ago Report Posted 55 minutes ago Peter Ambrose has today completed a loan move to Hungarian side Diósgyőri VTK (DVTK), subject to international clearance. The 23-year-old Nigerian striker returns to familiar territory in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I for the remainder of the season. Peter previously enjoyed a successful spell in Hungary with Újpest before moving to Pittodrie in the summer of 2024. He has since gone on to make 23 appearances in red, scoring two goals. With opportunities in the first team currently limited, this move is designed to offer him more regular game time. Everyone at AFC wishes Peter all the very best during his time with DVTK. Quote

Morrison is a poor signing in my opinion, because of his age and lack of experience, which should have been obvious. But we were probably still hoping to see out the next two games and get Milne back alongside Knoester. We'll probably have had backup options that the recruitment team were looking at, but it isn't always possible to make things happen in January, especially with no prior contact before the weekend and on a short term deal. I don't think a freebie is ridiculous at the moment, or an indictment of the club, just bad luck. Absolutely true that the Knoester injury couldn’t be foreseen, but the fact we don’t have a single permanently signed CH who is good in the air, can win their defensive headers & dominate the penalty box is a massive indictment on the club and recruitment - & that’s not a new issue either by any stretch. Lets hope the new lad(s) bring a bit of that… Quote
