Masters

This kinda feels like I'm basically posting a BBC press release here, but for anyone interested Sportscene is showing the Masters live on 14 November, which is in Aberdeen this year - not Augusta.

Aberdeen, Dundee United, Celtic and Rangers are the four teams. Six-a-side. So not just the treble this year but the quadruple up for grabs.

Aberdeen: Russell Anderson, Eoin Jess, Joe Lewis, Derek Young, Jonny Hayes, Gavin Rae, Kevin McNaughton and Lee Miller.

Rangers: Barry Ferguson, Jermain Defoe, Kris Boyd, Lee McCulloch, Graham Dorrans, Pedro Mendes, Roy Carroll and Dean Sheils.

Celtic: Stiliyan Petrov, Scott Brown, Charlie Mulgrew, Simon Donnelly, Gary Hooper, Darren O’Dea, Joe Ledley and Michael McGovern.

Dundee United: Willo Flood, Mark Wilson, Craig Conway, Gary Kenneth, John Rankin, Jon Daly, Danny Swanson, Paul Gallacher

I dunno if we want separate match threads for each game to piss off Rico?

Anyway, be good to see Eoin Jess and Kevin McNaughton in particular again in Aberdeen shirts. Dunno why Scott Brown is turning out for Celtic, presumably couldn't get in the Dons team.

Decent side.  If half of those had been in our first team of late maybe we would be off the bottom of the league.

Dropping last season's player of the tournament is disgusting. I won't be attending.

Celtic going without a keeper?!

7.30 BBC Scotland then. Anyone going? Can we defend the title? (Probably!)

I don't mind if we win it again or not, just as long as someone slams Barry Ferguson into a wall.

Looking at the teams for tonight it looks like Rangers were invited but Sevco weren’t.

Who the fuck is that in nets for the Tims

Could Packy Bonnar not have played, given how much he seems to know about the game 😉

DABs or no DABs, always pleasing to see The Tim cunts getting their arse pumped

No sign of Rooney but is that Robbie Winters?

Any day of the week that is a pleasing outcome

Fucking loved how Young proper bust a gut to get to the ball to open the scoring.  Cracking flick for Miller and he's just stuck in one against the tims.

Aye wonder if someone that's there could please ask Lee Miller if he is free next Sunday 😉

It did cross my mind he would do well in a thelin team 2bh.

Russel Anderson turns into fucking Romario in this format

Just gets better and better

Can Winters play next Sunday also

Derek Young is and always has been a cracking lad. I see him about quite a bit as he doesn’t live far from me and bumped into him in the local a month or so back - he was well up this!

He didn't give a shit about getting a sore one, he was scoring against der hun and that was that.  Love it!

Haven't a fucking scooby

Once a Hun, always a Hun

What absolute pish from the woman on BBC Scotland (Connie McLaughlin?) pre the game between the two teams with ZERO points by saying this is the BIG one.

What utter shite, two teams playing to avoid finishing with NIL points.

The big one is the final you fucking tube

Can someone explain that goal difference caption to me

Three teams in total + 12

The other team - 1

Where has the other eleven goals gone 🤔
