Didn't think it possible at the time but we have regressed in the past two months

I don’t believe that we would be fearing relegation as we are now if we had kept Thelin. But at the same time based on Levens record last time out I expected us to be fine under him. It is much more professional to sack the manager before you start talking to other candidates, It’s just unfortunate that our preferred candidate appears to be unavailable till the summer. It’s easy to say we need someone now, but would we be happy if it was John McGlynn?

I would personally be apoplectic if we ended up with the likes of him. Absolutely furious. He's simply not Aberdeen class. There's one thing doing well at a wee club like Falkirk but Aberdeen is a whole other level. He'd be way out of his depth. 

I'm perfectly fine with binning Leven and having Docherty in charge until the summer. He'll get us over the line.

I'm not confident that either Horneland or Schwarz will want to take the job on at all. Be it now or in summer. After Saturday if I was them I'd certainly be running away fast.
