  1. Not really that strange. We are favourites slightly since we are at home but if we get through we are understandably not fancied at all to win it. If Copenhagen get through they are far more fancied than us as have beat teams Celtic and Man Utd at home in last couple of years and Ajax & Loko Moscow away.
  2. For me on the belief that we have some good players when we let them express themselves. That and Copenhagen's results in the group losing 2-0 at home to Madrid who only beat us 2-0 with us playing gash and losing 1-0 at home to Panathinaikos who were no great shakes either but we lay down to them aswell. We actually look good most of the time when sent out to attack and if we are we have a more than good chance of winning.
  3. Yup - when it came down to it we had no choice but to try and win the game and let players off the leash and we did it. Hopefully the same this time!!
  4. Aye - i know the feeling. Some of the lads on our bus that have ben going religiously for years have left the last 3 games before 50 mins to head back to pub for 45 mins before bus leaves.
  5. Exactly - hope we haven't seen too much of them so dont set up just to stop them. Go out 4-4-2 and let players express and we have every chance. And if we lose doing that then there will be not many complaints from most!!
  6. Makes the both of us then!! Had tickets for the wooden leg crush seats but decided on sitting over towards the away fans at the front on the half plastic seats with no backs.
  7. Lol - not a clue what you are trying to say dude!!
  8. We are a more than capable side which is constantly being held back by tactics such as today's ones. Just a case of whether that outweighs the good work JC does. For me personally it certainly does outweigh the good and think JC after doing a decent job initially is now holding us back!!
  9. 2-4-4 my erse. Hart's pace actually saved us a few times in the second half as Motherwell picked us off with ease and looked like scoring every time they crossed half way line.
  10. Quite quite atrocious and just no idea where to start. Byrne and Severin would be good place though. Pretty much agree with BTR that not much worse seen in my 20 years of watching Dons either.
  11. Agreed - went up in estimations with heart he showed in Ukraine and since his form picked up. Although in last few games the errors have been creeping back in.
  12. Any change or move will always meet with resistence. Nobody wants to move but circumstances dictate we have to and accepted that a few years ago when Keith Wyness did an open night about relocating when Kingswells was the preferred option. Still not sure Cove is the best area but in our state don't think we can be too choosy when it may just be the council and others saving the future of AFC.
  13. Basically knock Pittodrie down and build whole new stadium in its place? We don't have the cash for this (and would have to play in Dundee for a year or two whilst work ongoing) and building a stadium elsewhere and selling the stadium is the only answer.
  14. Poor poor idea - the song was from our greatest era and letting some of the current squad re release the same song for getting to last 32 is an insult to the Gothenburg team. New song might be a laugh though!!

Q's 1. Where do you travel from? 2. How do you get there/back? 3. What do you usually do before/after the game? 4. Preferred location? A's 1. Bucksburn 2. Usually shitty bus service 3. Depends. Sometimes pub and sometimes straight to and from the game. 4. Would prefer something in the town but if not then wherever it is must be easily accessable and transport better than current bus service.
  16. Just what it sounds like. Quid a week mini lottery with weekly and monthly prizes with profits going to youth development. Well was way back when i did it but not once been prompted by AFC in many years
  17. Not going to feature anywhere near the Birmingham side the rest of this season so would think best for McLeish to leave him up here and see how he gets on playing in the SPL rather than playing in reserves/3rd team down Brum.
  18. Far far too young at moment and not even close to Premiership standard, if he ever will be. Can see us picking him up for nothing at end of season, if we want him.
  19. Used to be in it about 8 years ago through guy from work but he left and not been in it since and never been asked by AFC since!!
  20. Great result against experienced Hearts side (albeit highly paid duds). Hopefully given the manager food for thought for up and coming matches if our injury crisis is to be believed.
  21. To be fair he could get injured training at the weekend instead of in a game. Most of our injuries seem to happen at training.
  22. No problem at all since the precident is there. If we think that the old firm wouldn't do exactly the same then we are kidding ourselves. Only difference is that the old firm would have their request granted by SPL no matter what Motherwell or anyone else say.
  23. JC on radio last week saying we would not be looking for postponement but now we have a few injuries we change our minds. Doesn't look to good on us either.
