  1. SFA should get committee together for June 2009.
  2. Tatties a good point. Haggis you know that though
  3. Cods sake. This was a supper thread til it got battered.
  4. Playing for us and scouting. Multi-talented. But back to contract situation. Still not sure who is going to be here next season, with just 7 weeks left of season to go look at potential players before JC goes on long summer holiday. coming back a day before pre-season starts. Bad feeling it will be last minute panic buys again who wont be fit until a month into season.

Lol - not my game. Ok until level 10 then goes pear shaped!!
  6. It makes it certain they haven't signed a contract here and have to assume they will not be here next season and must look to replace. Of course they may still sign before replacements are sourced but that is the risk they are taking!!
  7. Which is their porogative. Of course, if AFC had got their act together and put in contract offers well before January then we wouldn't be having this problem and planning and "scouting" could be well down the line for next season. With players still in limbo we still do not know what we need for next season!!
  8. On the basis both have had contract offers since January and not signed them.

Might download that slow down flash games file aswell.
  10. More folk read this than McNee's column in the NOTW though!!
  11. About the same as us discussing the same thing. Miller, despite a string of failed businesses, is basically running a football club now along with Duncan Fraser.
  12. Story freshly stolen from last night's EE. At this stage it seems certain that both Miller and Nicholsonwill move on unless they are just waiting for offers elsewhere and using us as a fall back.
  13. In a business sense most certainly a loser. On the pitch hard to find a bigger winner though.

Saw posters up in RDS concourse at last game aswell.
  15. Would think Touzani stil on fair wage to entice him to up sticks from Holland and move to Scotland. Would take a fair package in order to do that i would think. Reckon most of our signings lack imagination and it is laziness from management that means likes of out of favour Touzani re-sign on.
  16. Couldn't agree more. Having said that thinking more and more that it may have a lot to do with his dodgy knee and just isn't fit since he hardly ever trains nowadays. Maybe my Seve bashing for being lazy and uninterested has something behind it or maybe just wishful thinking and he is a lazy slug!!
  17. Yup - 4 possibly want to stay. Touzani clearly out of favour so must be candidate for punting. Mair and Macnamara will no doubt want to stay but both looking like a waste of a good wage. JDV is the other who has not done that much as yet . If those 10 mentioned in the EE are not the ones (double figures) who JC wants to clear out then wonder who is. At the moment we look like we are losing: Nicholson Miller Aluko Walker (All out of contract and JC says wants to keep 4 of those 5.) Lovell Duff Bus Soutar Maybury (All out of contract and none offered new deal as yet so may be part of the 10 bar Maybury who just came in a few days before JC said he wanted to move players out) Leaves first team squad of: Jamie Langfield (Wanted as given new contract) Ritchie Byrne (Was reported to have been offered new contract before injured yet again??) Jackie McNamara (Possible) Zander Diamond (Wanted as signed new contract) Scott Severin (Wanted as bummed up regularly and is JC's captain) Jamie Smith (Can't imagine he wants to let him go as talks him up) Darren Mackie (As above) Richard Foster (Wanted as recently signed new contract) Lee Mair (Possible) Derek Young (Doubt on list as played well and is "great to have about the place" & "we have missed him") Andrew Considine (Possible as gets blame thrown on him regularly) Chris Maguire (Possible again but JC seems to really like him when everyone else thinks he is rank) Jeffrey De Visscher (Possible) Jonathan Smith (Possible)
  18. The "list" as printed in the paper: Not too much to get upset about there is there? Touzani and Bus not going to feature much with Bus only on contract til summer anyway. Lovell we all know is going and Jimmy has bascially said he aint getting a new contract offer. Trying to offload Dan Smith in last 3 transfer windows. Mair and Macnamara maybe but both not really good enough to take us forward on what we have seen, with the latter likely to go into coaching. Walker and Aluko JC has said will both be going in summer anyway. Edit: Should really say that not talking to EE can only be a good thing and should be extended to JC aswell but this way is petty.
  19. Not in my paper. Nor online where just part of the story from Friday appears.... http://www.thisisaberdeen.co.uk/displayNode.jsp?nodeId=148766&command=displayContent&sourceNode=148590&contentPK=20022358&folderPk=85404&pNodeId=148360
  20. To be fair the report was a joke on Redweb. Clark booked Diamond early on then never booked players on both sides for worse and probably more Rangers players could have been booked than reds but kept cards in pocket after the first one for both sides. Did manage to get in way of ball twice but both times Aberdeen players needlessly kicked it off him from about 5 yards. Usually see Clark as a homer (ref that goes with home team and crowd) but didn't think he did that bad at all.
  21. But Charlie Allan NEVER slates JC hence why JC is still gving him interviews. Players spat the dummy at stories that were slating the players, which is hardly surprising since we haven't won since January 2nd (Hamilton) and shipped 26 in 8 games since then.
  22. Nae sure dude. Thinking about a sun holiday instead as the bother factor is reducing all the time. Maybe a weekend trip aswell though.
  23. Told as a possible back up to Man Utd saying no and going on a far east tour, that Birmingham have been approached aswell.
  24. Seems to always be the way. Mackie rushed back too quick many times this season as has Jamie Smith. Others that spring to mind include Byrne and Macnamara this season, whilst Severin's ongoing knee problems are risked every week despite doing little or no training each week.
