And if playing in south of Holland maybe look at going via Dusseldorf (cheap flights) and checking whether Kirmes festival is on there (on for about 10 days in July). Came across this when we flew to Dusseldorf for pre-season which was meant to start in Krefeld in Germany but ended up cancelled cause of rain!!

All i can remember about Maastricht was coming out of a nightclub with some local MMV Maastricht fans (who had taken us under their wing after we beat their main rivals Fortuna Sittard) with 3 of us in shorts, trainers and Aberdeen tops at 6am and the sun being out!! Milners who had went back to hotel at 11pm as we went out for one drink was soundo and couldn't get back into room and woke up half the hotel banging on the door. Great trips!!

The 2 previous Holland trips AFC always stayed in Delden but played all over the place so wouldn't book that area for accommodation just yet and would wait for fixtures to come out first. We ended up staying down south in Arnhem, Mastricht and Zwolle and up north in Amsterdam for those pre-seasons which was great central bases for getting to places we were playing.

Haha - From what i remember a decent player going forward but one of those players who got moved position every week. Perfect for us then!!

Pity - Ireland would have been good, although playing Leeds might have been asking for trouble!!

Probably. Lovell has 8 goals from the bench and Mackie has a few also.

To be fair, Lovell's 24 goals includes the one against Berwick that was an og so only got 23 total, which makes Mackie's record under JC actually slightly better!!

After seeing his Bebo page before it went private, most certainly a no to that question!!

Reckon he was over with either Dublin Reds or Belfast Reds as both had flags at game but AFC claim never heard of Belfast Reds!!

He does!! That was his 51st for Aberdeen last night. And was his 34th under Calderwood in 96 starts and 29 sub appearences.

Anyone know this guy. Something VERY important of his found at game last night amid chaos and is safe and sound with us. If anyone knows this guy give me a pm please.

My thoughts on him aswell. Flatters to deceive most of the time but brilliant football at goal. Set pieces are woeful though.

Has to be top priority now. Longer we leave it the more chance someone else will sign him up on pre-contract.

Just totally gutted. Most gutted have been in a long long time.
