I too went on a rant when i heard the starting line up. This was due to McNamara though and not Mackie. Don't think anyone had a bad game, although very few actually had a good game.

On the verge of a fcuking awesome season. The European tour has been immense, but i was a bit gutted that we weren't gonna qualify for it again. Then we go and book ourselves a semi final place against the weakest team in the competition!! Love it. A final against the forces of darkness will be the perfect conclusion to this season. Europe in the bag too Hopefully we can secure secure top 6 also. Would make for much better reading. Knockout stages of UEFA cup, CIS Semi, Scottish Cup final, top 6 in SPL. That'll do me

So we're down to the final few games before the split. Not what we quite expected to be fighting for at this stage of the season. Here's my thinking of how it will unfold. Currently: F - 40 H - 37 A - 37 Aberdeen v St.Mirren Hearts v Falkirk F - 40 H - 40 A - 40 Inverness v Aberdeen Falkirk v Killie Hearts v United F - 43 H - 43 A - 43 Aberdeen v Falkirk Killie v Hearts F - 43 H - 46 A - 46 Even if we win our last 3 games, with our crappy goal difference, we're not guaranteed to get into the top 6. Hopefully United will do us a favour and take something from their game at Tynecastle. I can see the last game against Falkirk being a peach. Especially since a draw would leave the door open for Hearts. Anyone feeling optimistic??

If ever there was a time to give Celtic a doing it's surley now! An easy semi tie and we're in a final at Hampden which would probably also secure Europe. Come on ewe reds!!

I'm just wary of joining everyone in saying March will be much better just because we're playing "easier" teams. Christ by the St.Mirren game, they will probably be in the position to jump us with a win

Pessimism is more fun. Now I can't get dissapointed.

March could prove to be worse than February. If we continue to play the way we are, then defeats against the likes of Falkirk and ICT are gonna hurt more than February, where the teams we were playing, were at least of higher standard. Rangers 4-0 Aberdeen Aberdeen 1-1 Gretna ICT 2-1 Aberdeen Aberdeen 0-1 St.Mirren Aberdeen 1-3 Falkirk ...looks MUCH worse than February's results. That can't happen though, can it?

United cup game was the first game i've left early, and i've been to some pretty gash games in the past. Livingston games seem to stand out...bad times.
