Reckon it was worst in the pre-WWII era in terms of trophies. To look at it from a different perspective..... If we had played them off the park & lost the game 1nil after at 93rd minute fluke would the it still be as bad??? The end result for the season would be the same. We would still be 6th, 2 cup semi's and last 32 of europe. It was the manner in which we got beat that is still getting to me. My concern is the lack of consistency that we have - summed up perfectly by the high's & lows of this season. In short we need a settled back 5 - This has to be sorted out in the summer or AFC will be going backwards. If we get maybury signed we need at least another quality center back -LB I'm not going to go into as it seems that we will never sign one.. With the amount of players leaving, I'm worried about this summer.

Jesus! Started early today? Agree about the need for someone who has an on field presence... But I dont think D.Young fits that bill.. While he puts 100% in when he's on the pitch & obviously relishes the chance he's been given, I would prefer to see him as a squad player.. Which kind of rules him out of being captain.

We look pretty good going forward and on the rare occasion we were level, I thought that we looked like we had the ability to carve out a few chances. To win - not draw level again . I'm not one usually one for proportioning blame, but yesterday the blame has to lie at the feet of the back four (+ soutar). They have played together against higher quality (SPL) opposition & not looked as woeful. Problem is I cant really see an easy fix for this... As individual players, Maybury, Diamond and to a certain extent Considine are all capable defenders. J Mac is totally past it. It seemed to be a combination of nerves and disorganisation that fucked us over - & lack of organistaion is not something I want to hear at the end of a season!!

You have no idea the amount of times i was shouting for the ball to be kept on the deck today.. Also, did you notice that every defensive header, instead of being directed to another red shirt (or even being cleared ffs), went up in the air or sideways - Qots pretty much always got the 2nd ball in these situations. We looked very nervous, which is a surprising considering the amount of experience that the team has.

Looking at it rationally, ICT and Qots are essentially the same sort of team - Cloggers. We have basically gifted them a victory through our inability to defend long balls. Notice that we shipped 3 goals the other week also.

Just now, that sounds like a wet dream... Unfortunately, based on todays performance, we look like we are going to loose all 5 fixtures..

He has to have played his last game for the club..... Totally past it. The defence was terrible. I actually though we looked quite good going forward. Probably we had ten clear cut chances on goal - we scored three of them & and were unlucky that two went off the post. But whats the point in only scoring three when you basically gift four goals to the opposing team??? Gutted.

Sensible (world of soccer!!) chat.. While I'd rather that we had a load of youngsters breaking into the 1st team... unfortunately, that is not the case. In the short term, I think that given the current squad 'levels' I'd rather a loan aka. Aluko/Walker rather than a Duff... Long term however, AFC needs to develop young players or we're fucked!!
