The club can also confirm youngsters Scott MacAulay, Zach Szemis, Stuart Close and Jamie Hamilton will be leaving the club. The Dons boss commented. "It's one of the least enjoyable aspects of the job to tell players that they won't be staying and I would like to thank all of them for their contribution to this football club. His contribution, both to Manchester United and Aberdeen, will quite simply never be matched, and it is fitting in many ways, that he has confirmed that he is stepping down just three days before the 30th anniversary of that never to be forgotten night in Gothenburg. Never be matched eh? Definitely not getting a season ticket now.
