Slightly ot but why do they have that connection?
-
Is this random name dropping? I see Bocanegra is without a club

Completely agree Jagerdeen. JC infuriates the hell out of me sometimes, BUT as sonoftherock said, this is our most successful period for years. Alright, we've yet to win anything, but we're making steady progress. Who the hell thought we'd have 3 yes THREE good cup runs this season? Not me thats for sure. And yet we still managed to finish fourth above the Arabs and Brazil. Jimmy's time at AFC has been a weird one, but no way do I want to see him leave just yet. It worries me about the quality of signings we could make, as its not good enough considering we're supposed to have a bit of cash to put about. But lets just see what the summer brings. Roll on the new season!

I love Darren and reckon he will score around 47 goals next season
Is he your lovell replacement then?
-
I've heard Mark Reynolds from Motherwell being brought into join Zander in the heart of defence.
Is that a FACT?
-
Apparently Adam Hammil is one we're (at a fair few others it seems) looking at him.

“Hearts goalkeeper Steve Banks has done well for them and he also had a spell with Gillingham.â€
So because he played for Gillingham he's good? Some logic there JC. As I said, I don't see Jamie having to worry about this no. 1 spot, but we'll see.
-
Is he not still technically a Dons player?
-
Basically it says that the season isn't finished yet (due to European cup i imagine) but they already have sights on the new up and coming season with the following friendlies. And it just says locations etc will be confirmed when known.

Darren Young has signed.................................for Dundee!

What a relief!

He was shite I think it was.

If we got Cowie and Niculae from Caley I would be a happy man.
But as a starting point, one of the two would be good
-
Maybe there was concrete interest from Altrincham or Kings Lynn or the like?
I doubt even Kingstonian would bother with him
-
Well he is able to dance whilst playing football judging by the pic above....
don't think Michael Flatley has anything to worry about though
-
I don't care - as long as there's heaps of fighting
BOooooo you Casual fighting bastard
-
Magaluf is close to Palma, you never know, they may be picking up on Guiza I think he might be slightly better than Lovell
-
No way they were that expensive from NS trains in Holland
I've emailed my dad (sorry forgot to ask on the phone yesterday) so I'll see what he says.
-
I will say this, I am not happy about this signing, as has been discussed his credentials are less than impressive, and considering the quality of keeper available even in league 2 kinda has me questioning this. But as I said, I will not jump on his back, but I do not see Jamie having any problems in retaining his jersey (bar any madness moments a la this season).

Edit: haha cheers Cts don't know what happened there

Well as I said previously, Den Haag/Scheveningen is where the chicas i'll be The camp site in Arnhem, was it near the big animal park?
-
Spurs are playing the other two, I wonder why they're not playing Feyenoord... ...Lets hope the yids triumph like their Nederlandse broeders eh Jagerdeen I thought when I read your post it was going to be us playing them
-
some 32 games in 7 years would indicate no, but we'll see. I won't judge him on previous statistics.

Our squad gets battered and bruised by some of Europe's finest footballers. An extended cup run in both cup competitions sees only Rangers play more games than us. But it still goes almost completely unnoticed that we finish 4th place.
The media were creaming themselves when United were switching between 3rd and 4th earlier in the season. Dunno why I'm moaning. The Dons have always been shunned by the media. Who are we to care?
I don't actually care, I think it is a good thing and certainly doesn't put pressure on our boys (though that doesn't explain why they fail miserably sometimes ). I'd much rather keep this steady process of progress unnoticed by the broader press, obviously it would be nice to see complimentary articles about our season in the Times

If You Could Chose the Opening Game who would it be against and why?
Personally Hibs away on a nice sunny day, fill the whole stand behind the goal and we would be in for a cracking game, Hibs and us always seem to make a good go of things and it's never a dull game.
I'd go with that, mainly because I'm in Edinburgh over the summer Might have to avoid the trashy locals though

Sounds logical enough and probably something I'd settle for. I know we're never going to win the league again whilst the terrorists are playing in our league. Sad, but true But the question is, would this pay off the debt though? I don't think it would do.
