I reckon Dark Walnut has to be the target every year and any thing less will be seen as a disappointing close season. Jimmy's unrealistic expectations of Ebony will need to be reigned in however. If the unthinkable happens and only Provincial is achieved, next year could see him looking for a new holiday destination..

I'll definitely be renewing. Saturday is for fitba. You dont turn your back on yer team in my book.

Seen Spiers on Scotsport last night saying the Huns were a team with momentum (??) and they would stick a few past us. The lads should need no more motivation.

Hopefully Milne doesn't do another 'Ferrie Bodde'. By all accounts Dixon's a quality young left back. Not heard much about the other lad.

Heard today that we have made a concrete offer to Dixon and a few nominal offers to Dundee. Cos he is under 24 they are threatening holding out for the tribunal to set the fee which we obviously want to avoid. As far as the player goes he is all set to come up here, happy with the contract etc. If the clubs can sort of compensation he will sign soon...maybe in the next week or so.

As mentioned earlier in this thread I still think Andy Dorman would be a cracking signing. Also, Medhi Taoul from Killie looks a flair player who can unlock a defence. Supposedly attracting interest from Hertz, surely we're a more attractive prospect than them at the moment

Did well with Blackpool, possibly a better option than Mackie though not as good an out and out finisher as Lovell. Not unhappy with this one.

Breaking news on the EE website says he has signed a 2 year deal. To be confirmed at 1pm press conference.

Looking increasingly likely that he is going to sign a new deal. Might well be case of the better the devil you know..

ha ha! Lee's self esteem must be taking a right bashing here. He is obviously desperate to move down south and chase the bigger wages available. However, it's looking more and more like nobody actually wants to sign him. His agent will no doubt be putting in double shifts trying to get him fixed up, but if no club shows an interest by the end of the season, he'll be here next. Not cos he wants to but cos no other fucker will take him.

Gotta love modern day footballers. 

Got to love this, received this article as part of the Redweb newsletter. Basically telling us that the Motherwell players are fitter than ours and spend more time practicing skills. Was there ever a more compelling case for mcGhee to replace JC?

Dont think there will be many problems within the ground. Any huns in amongst us will surely not be stupid enough to cheer if they score. If they do, action will be swift by Dons fans and the cops. Could be fun in town afterwards though....

Having been an RDU die hard for year I'm switching to the South for next season. The view is miles better in there and if a game is very big enough to have a decent atmosphere now, there's probably just as much in the South as there is in the RDS. Fancy a bit of needle with the away fans, but the few times I've been in section Y I fucking love it.

And thank fuck I wont have to tackle the RDU stairs anymore!
