I had a discussion with 2 hun mates the other day about Rangers' punishment and they were of the opinion that they'd been "punished enough" and that "releagting them to the bottom teir was overly harsh". I did try to explain that they weren't relegated. Their club no longer existed. It was the new club that joined the bottom tier because that's where new clubs join the league structure. Not convinced they grasped what I was saying.

Saturday. 12:30 ko. Sorry guys but this has got let down written all over it for me. Time and time again we've had big games and if we won we could have gone top. I believe there was one at Pittodrie last season and it was a massive let down. This is a real measure of the team this season and the management of DM McInnes. If we can grind out a result I'd be ecstatic and this is one of the poorer Celtic teams of recent times but I've been an Aberdeen fan for too long to get really confident about this one. Glad I went along in the end! It was such a non-Aberdeen-esque performance. We went a goal down straight away (which maybe isn't unlike us) but despite going in at half time still a goal down we were by far the better team. In the second half that continued and when we switched to 4-4-2 they couldn't cope. We looked like we could score every time we went forward. I was annoyed at McCall using the European game as an excuse. 2 games into the season and he's moaning about being tired? Ok a 6 hour flight is maybe not ideal but they had days to recover and at the end of the day it's still just a 6 hour flight? Strange. I thought we were deserved winners and would have won if they'd had a game in Europe or not. I was in the upper deck (so not with the cool folk) so didn't see any vandalism happening. He's getting games for his new club, got promoted last season and won their opening game of this campaign. And he'll be on 4 or 5 times what he was on here. It's got all the makings of a decent move for him.

You can get BT Sport on the Sky platform although I tried to find the cost online and I had no luck. Can't be arsed phoning Sky to ask.

Why are they looking to punt these players? Is there some of the story that we've maybe not heard? They're looking at other players and offering trials/contracts so wouldn't have thought it be purely a money issue. These players wouldn't exactly be on fortunes anyway.
