  2. Not fussed who we get as long as its not Arbroath away - still trying to warm up since the last time we were there a few years ago.

  4. Was a pretty dull game both the goasl were decent though. Duff was crap on a couple of aoccasions running down the wing he took one look at one of there big defenders and either bottled a challenge or turned back the way. Mark Kerr concerns me slightly as well he seems to have a nasty habit of losing the ball easily in the middle of the park, I've noticed this every time I've seen him play. Highlight of the night was when one of our fans let Zander know Rangers lost and Zander was pleased.
  5. A few that stick out: Nicholsons goal at Tynecastle in the 90th min. Was bodies flying everywhere in the stand, we were taking abuse from a bunch of neds the whole game across the barrier when we scored the amount of people turned round and bounced towards one of them saw him get straight up and leave. My first away game- a 5-3 win at Tannadice! The time I spent in Munich and the atmosphere during the whole trip The Copenhagen game Jamie Smiths winner vs the Huns in the 3-2 game. The SC game when we beat Utd. 3-2 having been 2-0 down. The Dnipro was one of the best because I fully expected a humping in Ukraine and didn't think we'd ever be so lucky.
  6. http://darlington.rivals.net/FORUM/pgePosts.aspx?boardId=106&clubId=30&threadId=150052&pageNumber=2- only consolation I can find is that the Darlington fans on here seem to rate him and that a few of them have a typical english viewpoint on our football
  7. I think we're all in agreement that its time to move on because he's taking the piss. It's bad enough when Miller and Diaomd did it but sadly enough we're not in a position when we can force our best players to make a decision. Maybury can easily be replaced, if he was desperate to stay he would have signed weeks ago, we're just his fallback in case he doesn't get a move to England.
  8. I agree from what I've seen of Higdon he's not great, Im hoping we'll sign somebody better than him and Foran.

  12. All of the above are the standard of player we need to be aiming at. I don't know much about Dixon but everything I've heard seems to be good. Kennedy would be a gamble but no doubting he's a good player, not sure if we've got enough cash to tempt Celtic to sell, loan deal would be more likely. Gow would be a good signingg but there would probably be competition form Utd/Hibs for him and again not sure if we'd have enough money to tempt the Huns to sell. As for Cowie and Black I'd be happy with either but I think Black is out of contract making him the more likely option.
  13. 45. Its a little known fact that Aberdeens manger is friends with Martin Jol 46. Aberdeen fans don't deserve their manager and his free flowing attacking football 47. Aberdeen fans pick on players like Duff,Mackie and Foster purely because they are local lads.
  14. 27. After every win AFC are always said "to be turning the corner" - the same corner we've been turning for years. 28. Anybody who is ex- Dundee United,Dunfermline or Dutch Sunday League would be worth signing
  15. I see the EE has picked up on this rumour which was broken on here on Tuesday and disproved on Wednesday. Please keep up!
  16. Dundee Utd at home would be a nice start. If it's an away game I'd want Easter rd./Tynecastle or Inverness.
  17. I hope this isn't the standard of player we'll be aiming for all summer. We should have beent trying to get an experienced keeper that is an improvement on Clangers not somebody warm the bench without putting any pressure on him when the inevitable howler occurs.
  18. I remember at the start of the season after Tannadice when we were all calling for Severin to played in his proper position in midfield. He went on to produce a series of inaffective performances from the centre of midfield. Nearer the end of the season he's put in some decent games at the back including last night where he was outstanding. He clearly is slow as fuck and seems to 2nd to every ball most weeks, maybe Seve will be better playing CB?
  19. From that page: "billy boys and gorgie boys together we will fight the feinian scum for god and ulster"
  20. Thats the thing with Lovell - on his day he's a top quality striker. Many other days I've seen him put in efforts that wouldn't look out of place in the 3rd division.
  21. That'll be the EE shown up again. Not only second to the Dons exclusives but not even doing ther research before copying it straight off of the internet! Don't know anything about these players but the keepers record is pish, hardly played a game in years. The Dutch striker has been offered around numerous teams who've said no but seems like a nutter, something we could do with. Davids looks like he is a decent young player and if it is LB he plays he can't be any worse than our other efforts over the years.
  22. Hard to sum up this season. League- Only a handful of good performances, the fact we played a lot more games this season affected our form hugely but that still doesn't count as an excuse for getting thumped by Hearts, drawing with gretna, losing to Killie, drawing with Smurn. Domestic Cups- This is all that people will remember this season, not just that we got knocked out in the Semi's but the fact we did it in the most spectacular fashion possible and bottled it when it really mattered to the fans. Europe- Can't make any complaints, was gutted when we drew Dnipro as I thought whoever we played would beat us and I at least wanted to see a big team. Scraped through the group stages thanks to that brilliant night and Munich was brilliant.
  23. He's about the same standard as Mackie,Bebo and Loveel. We need to be signing quality players and stop signing squad players.
  24. Player of the season Barry Nicholson AFC Goal of the season Jamie Smith 1st v Copenhagen Bounce of the season Sone Aluko vs Bayern Game of the season Copenhagen AFC Cunt Award (who at the club is the biggest cunt?) Mcnamara, thieving bastard. And in other catagories SPL Cunt of the season Barry Robson SPL Shitest player of the season Dave Bus Best grub award Hibs have the best catering Best away boozer Augustiner,Munich
  25. Hearts on it this morning was pretty funny. Hearts must have the largest youth squad in the world though there was heaps of players there, compared to us who hardly have any left.
