A settled defence and better end product from Duncan and Morris* then we potentially win that.

Shame, but we've transfers still to come in and 36 games to go. Our attitude was good and we rattled Celtic a lot.

*I get the "he wasn't shite" comments, and fair play he got stuck in. But struggling to think of one good ball into the box. There was one point he beat two Celtic players - proving he can actually take players on and beat them - but he doesn't do it enough, let's defenders stand him up too much.

I'd say he's probably earned an extended stay and a season working under Robson and we may well get a player out of him yet. But I still think we're crying out for a better player there.

He was always having to check back as the box was empty. By the time we got up and put it wife to deliver he was 2v1 hard to get a good ball in.

On that note I personally think that the noble cross is a dead art now. Percentage football produces ugly low cutbacks. I'd love to see balls fitted across the six yard box but it's very rare at the top level.

  2. Back three the only concern today. Hopefully they come together. I'd assume that once we get another CB in Devlin will move to wing back or dadia well play there with the other moving to CB.

Strong squad, if have liked to see sokler given the nod but otherwise it's about as strong as we can be.

  3. I think Clarkson is playing further up the pitch. Certainly was yesterday with shinnie playing the anchor.

I'd be surprised if sokler doesn't push bojan out of the starting line up this season.

Not a fan of the attacking wing back and felt both Johnny and Morris were crap yesterday.  Certainly an area where a specialist is needed.

I did think that Duncan did ok in that position as the game went on.

  4. I felt we were just not physically up to it today. A yard off Preston and lightweight in the tackle. The ref deciding to leave his cards at home set the tone early and Preston made the most of it.

Bright spots for me were shinnie, sokler ( who puts himself about and looks a player ) and polvara when he came on looks to have doubled in size from last year and found some dig. Clarkson had as few flashes but we never troubled them.

Should have had a couple of pens. I think the pull on miovski as he went for the cross and the wrestling in the box ( think it was Milne) . Duk just jumped on the ball to be fair hoping for a pen.

Defence was always going to be dodgy and it proved to be out downfall today.

Disappointed by some of the chants from the moronic element present today. Two goals down and they bring out the Ibrox disaster, Bobby sands and Durant songs from under their ski masks 🤦There's just no need!

  5. A guy with a record like Jim gives a dressing room the ready made excuse they're looking for when things are tough.

Probably not a worse manager than before but perception of him from players is probably completely different and they produce less with that safety net of a diddy manager to blame.

  6. Came across a rangers page with Dave Cormack in full kit.

The comments were amazing. Totally against what I expected. I'd say 90% said it was a cracking kit ( although the badge got stick) and i'd also say 80% were actually praising Dave for being a real fan.

Never thought I'd see the day. This however is definitive proof that it's a proper kit.

  7. Crap. Could've been five for hearts. Never had a sniff.

I said it all through the wins that we had been lucky rather than massively improved.

The bounce is over. Robson has saved the season. We might lose third but it's better than where we were.

That said, I'm not filled with optimism for next season.

  8. Never seen the game. Was listening in and it sounded like Hibs were all over us. Yet again roos has come to the rescue.

I've said it a few times now. We can't rely on a solid back line, world class saves and a duk miracle every week.

The results that we were getting were excellent but the performance hasn't really been.

That said, fair play to the boys at the back again. Scraping a valuable point.

Anyone willing to comment on the penalty we had/didn’t get? Seemed like a no brainer to me but it appeared it wasn’t even reviewed by VAR?? Makes a farce of the whole thing. Again.

It was outside. Should definitely have been checked though and been a foul. WWE stuff.

  10. Defended for our lives again and eventually something was going to break our run at the back .

Can't rely on a miracle from Duk every week. Although we did come close a couple of times.

I've said for a few weeks that we've been carrying luck ( and by proxy momentum . It'll be interesting to see if we can pick it up again next week. I'd like to see us try to get up the pitch a bit more as it's not only Ibrox where we've relied on Wonder saves and last ditch tackles.

You might want to frame this next bit but I have to say that miovski looks to have improved dramatically since Jim left.  I've gave him a kicking for being a horse many times but it looks like with a bit of direction he might be a player

Not sure what Duncan brings to the team today but otherwise decent enough shift from the whole team.

Some of the decisions that weren't looked at today by VAR were outrageous. I hope the club are compiling an email as I type.
