  1. Is George Graham in an old folks home yet, done piss all since spurs. We could offer him a chance of redemption. very much a no nonsense, 1st place or no place type. would be absoloutely ideal.

May have to work on his pretty football. 1-0 to the aberdeen does have a ring to it though

and as we are skint he can't do any unusual dealings ( allegedly of course )

  2. I think they probably have someone lined up already.

The speed of events after today's game would suggest this is the case.

I  agree that he has steadied the club and brought back respectability, but, the standard of football has been pretty dire for some time.

I for one won't be shedding any tears over their departure.

I am sad to see a likeable guy go, but as above standard has been dire for a long while except couple of euro performances. Never seemed able to have a real go at lesser opponents and thet has to lie with the manager.

Also loving the use of " bandwaggoners ". Spot on description. I want to see my team attack week in and week out with ball on deck, when did we last see that? Too many happy to plod along in mediocrity for fear of failure.

p.s seen Wolfsburg won bundesleague, this is what we should aspire to become, bayern etc couldn't stop them so less of the money pish

  3. Christ, Kyle has got more Scotland caps than Miller? I seem to recall him getting caps when Vogts was handing them out like sweeties and made Scotland a laughing stock.

It says a lot for the standard of the national team if he has caps and the caps that Kyle has might as well be peanuts because they count for sweet fuck all.

    :lolabove:

why wasn't he handing miller them then??
  4. Was he at Blackpool? Or was that only on loan?

    think it was blackpool.

Players also released recently include, Tommy Miller Ipswich ( maybe ££££ ), Jamie McCunnie hartlepool ( how did he get so far down the footballing order ) Graham Murty ( another vogts man ) and Darren Huckerby Norwich ( again£££ and possibly too old )

If Mccunnie is fit we could do with reliable fullbacks, think Murty is 96 so'd try McCunnie first.

Leroy Lita also released by reading would be superb foil for Miller, sadly $$$$$$$$$$$$ in wages

  5. our current "strikers" have managed less in a season than he has in the last couple of months. miller excluded.

For a shitey outfit like killie.

Also likes a good punch up so'd slot right into the dressing room

  6. Has anyone else noticed the real Scott Severin in the past few weeks. I'd love to say he has appeared because the club have been desperate to push for europe and he's upped his game. Is it not more likely though that he has appeared because he is looking for a contract elsewhere and isn't flooded with offers at the moment??

Always been capable of these performances but hasn't given a shit for past year or so, happy to see him go at end of the season Europe or not

  7. why does JC bring in loan players from down south, with the exception of Sone he never gives them a fair crack of the whip. They can't all be crap surely. I'm pretty sure City reserves would pump us. I've no doubt this summer he ( if still in a job ) will bring up more premiership starlets to watch darren mackie and co from the bench. Either they are BETTER than what we have or we SHOULDN'T bring them in on loan at all. Where is the trust in these guys. Also if our squad are better why aren't City & co all chasing our superstars that are keeping English u21 players out of the team????

  8. I think a fit consi is a decent centre half. Like to see him and diamond play together for a while. Know they've had a few howlers in the past but if they keep firing seve in there they'll never fulfill their potential. ( yes I think they have a fair bit ). If seve was half the midfielder he used to be he'd still be playing there every week. We need Consi's presence at the back as we are physically poor, he needs a bit of time in the team to get back up to speed. This is the same guy that was five yards better last season after all.

Also feel that moving Seve back undermines Diamond's control of the back 4 and I'd take Zander leading the troops over seve every day of the week.

  9. I like Smith and genuinely think he's a decent guy who likes the club, however if you put his treatment bill on top of his contract for the past few years and weigh it up against his performances and their regularity he has cost us a fortune for very little.Best since Jess?  Not a chance, only one game of note I remember. If we had cash to spare I'd love to give him a go as he owes us big time, sadly though that's just not the case

  10. Thought we started well and played some good stuff with the ball on the ground. Deserved the lead and looked good value for it. Then once we were up we reverted to type and sat back to be steamrollered. Once the 1st went in it was a foregone conclusion sadly. Is it Jimmy,is it the skipper, who decides to take the foot off the gas. This costs us so often!!

Also noticed the crowd was shit today, was it bank holiday related or a lack of confidence in our ability to compete lately??

  11. I'd be quite happy to see Maguire play up top with Aluko on Saturday as long as the rest of the team are briefed that its not Lee Miller up there and long balls to their heads are not on the menu.

Think you may just have found Jimmy's top secret football formula. The old hoof it he learned from the masters in holland. Talks Barcelona, produces cowdenbeath
  12. wasn't at game today, however even if I could have gone wouldn't have bothered ma arse. From what I can gather it was again far from vintage stuff. Obviously many on here love wallowing in mediocrity and put up excuses to halt a change in the near future, I'd rather bring in someone and sack them if they're shit than watch pish for another 5 years. As for todays protest I think a lack of will to watch dross was responsible for the poor turn out ( that and a respect for other events this week ). I think the MAJORITY, like myself and 3 mates will vote with their feet and the board will have to take action when they've got 6-7 thousand every week.

I know there will be the europe and top 6 arguments but lets be honest, we are honkin and have been for some time. Lets all wait and see how attendances and season book sales go between now and the start of next season if nothing changes. I wish Jimmy would prove me wrong as I genuinely like the guy, but I've sat through UTD at tynecastle, QOS and Dunfermline thinking he'd do it at last only to be crushed again. Well done the few protestors at least they had the balls to admit we aren't that good and need to be better..

  13. I think its pretty hard to disagree with what tlg1903 says, but who knows which Aberdeen team will turn up. You never know, might actually see us score two goals :D

Obviously missed the bit where Mackie and Wright are fit for a return, don't think the caley jags will be bricking it with that news. 3rd is probably long gone sadly and I've lost the will to care less of late

  14. I do agree that our strikers aren't great, miller has been doing well, playing the target man that our simplistic tactics dictate. As a consequence of this he rarely is in the box when balls come in. Mackie's a tryer, " if a bit pish ". MacGuire has a real chance but we need to get the ball down and play football instead of asking him or the others to feed on Miller's scraps. Wright ( let's not go there, too many adjectives so little time. ) lets just say that if this is Jimmy's idea of a quality addition I'd rather he went before he adds any more. I couldn't believe how little regard JC had for lovell who again has proven himself as a goalscorer. Issue with the gaffer and tactics deployed rather than someone to find the pokey. Doesn't matter who came in to play up front, we don't create enough to feet in and around the box and defenders are always favourite for crosses

  15. whoever said apathy was spot on, couldn't give a toss as result was predictable. No bottle again on what was a "big" game night against 2nd class opposition. Couldn't believe JC survived Queens Park, then QOS, but this has to have been the final shot as this mob will win nothing under him and no more proof is required.

p.s do you think if Mowbray gets punted we could offer him a huge pay cut to move north, or take Yogi. I'd like to see some football for a change.

  16. I would say Kerr is getting in about it quite well at the moment. The problem with the midfield is a lack of guts when it comes to having a go in regards to shooting.

The nail has been hit on the head, written invitations required to have a go, something seve was doing regularly a couple of seasons ago. Still like a psycho though to shout at them for not having the knackers to shoot

  17. After another weak midfield performance this weekend I was wondering if we'll ever sign a midfielder with some kahuna's. I think it's time we had someone who can control a game ( and put boot in ). Since the biscuit boy left we've had a serious lack of bollocks and I don't understand why JC doesn't move to change this. Any suggestions where we could get a hard case that would let our 10 stone team play football around him??
