A turkey! So it is!! Here's me look at it from all angles, trying to figure out which animal had feathers, a really really small base and also had claws. All I could see was this bizarre creature trying to reach the pregnant woman's belly. With this in mind, you can understand my "WHAT THE FUCK?" stance I had.
-
What is it? I really can't figure out what the fuck that is!
-
I ain't seen this problem before. You still experiencing this problem, BB? Yeah this is a known problem, mate. It's RRRREEEAAALLLLYY annoying as fuck, and I can't figure out what the problem is. Short of reinstalling the entire site again, the site engine designers aren't sure what the issue here is either! But we're working on it.
-
And that is part of the problem, paulinho. Hibs make hefty profits because they sign their promising players up on LLLOOOONNNGGGG term deals and then put them up for sale when they've still got 3 years to run. We, however, have a habit of selling our players when they are in the final year of their contract. Being honest, our most sellable asset right now is Aluko. He's still contracted for another year and a half. Nae fuckin way is he gonna sign a new contract with us. So I reckon we've got to look at selling Aluko this January or, at the VERY VERY latest, next summer.

FFS, wasn't he bought as cover for our already crocked defence? When's Diamond back?

Right on! Milne's been doing the sensible thing for a decade now, by trying to get the club to survive on its own without injections of cash from his own wealth. However, the only two clubs who've succeeded in doing this in Scotland in recent times are Hibernian and St Mirren. One lives by selling its players at extortionate prices. The other lives by selling its ground to supermarket giants and getting them to build a new stadium in the process. 1. We saw a glimmer of hope when we sold Clark for £300k and Hart for £200k. But when you see twats like Scott Brown being sold for £4.5million, it beggars belief how someone of the quality of Russell Anderson can walk for £1m. 2. Unless Donald Trump wants to build the first hole of his golf course on the ground beneath Pittodrie Stadium, we're never gonna get anywhere near the £7million that Pittodrie's worth. Even then, when we do sell it, we've got no physical asset against our name to use as collateral if the banks start knocking on our door. So, Milne, what are you going to do? We've given you enough opportunity to try to get things right. We've seen you cut the size of the club's cloth, squad after squad gets trimmed, every year we get closer to having to permanently shut down the Main Stand. And I can't really imagine that the past 12 months have done very many positive things to our overall debt. It's time to either show the colour of your money, or let someone else do it. Apparently the only reason Calum Melville didn't chuck his money at Aberdeen FC was because Milne was there, and he didn't think the money would be spent wisely. Time to move aside Stewarty!

Here was me thinking you were selling Lee Miller's car. He won't be needing that for a whiley, eh!

EE: Aberdeen FC boss set to wield the axe
Reekie_Red replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
At least these kids would be disappointed to lose so heavily to the huns. The current crop of "experienced" players don't seem to give a shite that they're shite -

Agreed. I'd rather we lose with a team of youngsters who actually gave a shit, than lose with a bunch of overrated, overpaid players who couldn't give a shite about the result because they know they'll get picked for the next match. I think the only experienced players who deserve a starting berth from what I've seen so far this season are Langfield, Ifil, Aluko and (tinhat) Foster. The youngsters like Fyvie, Paton and (tinhat again) Maguire have done extremely well, but they're getting fuckall support from those players who should know better, such as Miller, Mackie, Mcdonald and Kerr. I say let the wasters rot in the reserves. That way, we get to play youngsters who might have a bit more hunger, we don't have these liabilities like Miller dragging his knuckles around for 90 minutes, they'll get fuckall time to showcase their ability to any prospective buyers, and we can just release them at the end of their contracts ... nobody loses except for said players. Win win as far as I'm concerned. It might even result in a couple of those wasters firing a rocket up their own arses and actually produce the performances we all know they can do. -
Give us a fuckin chance. Some of us mods have to eat/sleep/work you know.

It had a Dundee win written all over it. Struggling Aberdeen travelling to Dundee, a team who are second only to Celtic in terms of their summer spending in Scotland ... courtesy of funding from an Aberdeen fan. Writing was on the wall before kick off. Jimmy Must Go.

Carron Keating is/was hot.

It's so bizarre, I just can't figure out why this scenario would ever take place. I mean, motorised velodrome ... with sidecars ... with lions? Who the fuck thought up that idea??
-
Hmmm. Might be something to do with the WYSIWYG editor in the reply screen. I've disabled it. Try now.

Shamelessly all stolen from one website. For starters ... ... I had to do this next one again, simply because ...

Haha each to their own opinion I suppose. Yes I'm admin, but no I don't exert unduly authority simply because someone has a difference of opinion to me. That's not how it rolls on DonsTalk. BTW welcome onboard Paulinho.
-
Because 19afc03 went up and actually asked every single one of the Nigerian U20 squad what they thought of Aluko and McGhee. Sitting in Cairo? Spotted a few Nigerians? Hmmmm, I must go and get me a new Gmail account and then a new DonsTalk account and post about it!

"The Police" as an official professional body has existed since the 1820s, yes. But the UK in particular has employed the services of local constabularies since the end of the first millennium. Erm, my point wasn't about the clothing, it was about the fact that we are forced to follow their customs when we head over to muslim countries, but when they come here, we are forced to bow to their every gumble or whim.
-
I would say "they don't know how to use it" but one of the main culprits of this sin at my work is the company's Chief Technical Officer !

This is something that I'm working on. This and the smileys on the quick reply are the two main things missing at the moment. The link at the bottom of the page is something the developers missed out on purpose on the current build of the software, but I've spoken with them and they aim to have it back in the next build, which is due for release in a couple of weeks. There's already something very similar to this on the "More" smileys list ... see  Do you specifically want this one?

I honestly cannot recall ever reading the Daily Mail in my life. I only know it through reputation! A small-minded person would not openly admit to accepting different races, religions and customs in the country I live in. What does get my goat up is when those people who have migrated to the UK then try and enforce their beliefs TO THE DETRIMENT of our own standards ... as clearly stated when the British Police force felt obliged to apologise to muslims living in the UK because a picture of a British police dog wearing a little British police hat was forced to be taken out of circulation because it offended those muslims!
-
Must admit that, whilst I've never dipped as low as singing sectarian songs ... especially at a Tommy Burns fund raising event ... I have been spotted after heavy nights on the shandies, wandering down Princes Street singing "who's that lying at Pittodrie"
-
One unhappy player who is gonna kick up a right fuss, not play anywhere near his potential and, quite possibly, engineer a cut-price move away from Pittodrie. If it's gonna improve his overall game, then let Aluko go to Egypt. He clearly wants to go, and lets face it staying at Pittodrie when he could be boosting his chances of a full Nigerian callup by playing for the U20s is not exactly gonna motivate him in any way, is it?! McGhee, just let Aluko go to the training camp, FFS! It'll do both him AND Aberdeen FC a world of good.

Okay, can of worms coming here ... Why is it okay for muslim women to wear niqabs and burqas to completely cover themselves in the UK, but when western women go to islamic countries, they must cover up? I'm perfectly alright with people of all races, religions and beliefs living in the UK. But when they start forcing their own beliefs on the UK to the detriment of the UK's own institutions, then this is wrong! I refer to complaints from Dundee-based muslims regarding the postcards sent to them advertising a new non-emergency phone number for the police, with the image on the postcard being of forces puppy Rebel. Police dogs have been used by British police as far back as the reign of Henry I in the early 1100s. And yet these complaints from the British muslim community about the use of police dogs in an advert actually resulted in an apology being made by the British police towards the muslim community!! Un-fuckin-believable!! Like I say, I've got no problem with people of different races, religions, etc living in foreign countries. But at least have the decency to adopt and respect the principals and practices of the country that has adopted you!!
