  1. Just finished Paddy Ashdown's autobiography. An excellent read. The stuff he has done in his life (Royal Marines, SBS, MI6, High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and not to mention his secretary!) must put any other MP to shame. Now reading this:
  2. Trump's lot are expected to object to it. I can't say I'm too bothered by it. I don't see them as a blot on the landscape and I prefer them offshore than onshore.
  3. Probably more aimed at the minks. Its ridiculous that the home support have to sit but they seem fairly powerless to get the Infirm to sit down.
  4. http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/2379620 My guess is that it'll be the supporters!
  5. LOL. I think Piers Morgan is in this thread a few times! I've no idea who that burd is that Mizer has posted.
  6. I presume they haven't included concession prices. Hibs seem to be taking the piss a bit.

  8. Aye I read that about her too. She seemed to have more shoulder pads on than the entire cast of Dynasty.
  9. Sandie Shaw - Puppet on a String
  10. Is that Jimmy Calderwood on the right?
  11. Ooft the new Dragon is a shocker A Frau Blucher lookalike!

    Films

Watched "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest". All three films were excellent, can't believe there are going to be Hollywood versions, surely they won't be a patch on the originals!
  13. What a piss poor start, two games we should we win.

  15. Can't see it, the BBC is supposed to appeal to a broad range of interests, and they couldn't possibly ditch all sport. F1 gets anything from 6M to 10M viewers, which is clearly in the BBC's remit of appealing to a greater audience. I see Bernie is now saying the races that are not live on BBC will be shown "as live" on the BBC later in the day. Sounds like a climb down.
  16. Exactly. It's a real shame. Sky can help themselves to Eddie Jordan if they want but hopefully the BBC can keep the rest, especially Brundle! EDIT: Brundle on Twitter: "BBC/Sky/F1 2012+. Found out last night, no idea how it will work yet I'm out of contract, will calmly work through options Not impressed"
  17. It is now, just ordered mine
  18. I think that looks way better!
  19. At a time when people are not too keen in spending any money on anything to do with Murdoch, Sky Sports end up with the F1 coverage! Viewing figures will plummet for the Sky-only races. Wonder if they will manage to keep the races ad free, which were a disaster for ITV. Terrible stuff, all because the BBC have to cut costs.
  20. For fuck's sake: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/motorsport/formula_one/9550930.stm
  21. Does this mean Dons games won't be on Radio Scotland?
  22. The away top looks quite good, I'm buying it!
  23. If you get there early enough you're in the squad for Saturday.
  24. I'm surprised you had de gaulle to post that pun.
