  1. I've been to Craven Cottage. The atmosphere at White Hart Lane or Boleyn Ground is way better.
  2. Has he got a history of doing something like that? Milne has got us by the balls. If we all stop going to games, its not his pocket we're necessarily hurting, it's the playing staff and the wage bills we're hurting.
  3. Not many but I've certainly thought that I wouldn't mind visiting it.
  4. I don't think that adds up!
  5. I've heard nothing but good reports about the Emirates.
  6. And thirdly its the iPhone 4s
  7. I didn't realise he was that ill. Whether people use any of his products or not, the reason many of us have iphones, Androids etc... is down to him and the way he's pushed the envelope for mobile technology. As somebody said, a tribute to him is that many people will have found out about his death using one of the products he invented.
  8. I noticed last week that the three golf clubs are looking into jointly running the Broadhill Bar and hosting their golf clubs there, presumably with a view to closing down all three existing premises!?
  9. Spiritualized at The Royal Albert Hall a week tonight!
  10. Is 8333 really a success for Friday night football? The media seem to have a semi over the crowds for both games last night. While we might have had a slightly better than average crowd, 8333 is pish IMHO. If we'd broken 10K then I'd think of it as more of a success.
  11. 8,333 according to the Beeb.
  12. I always thought Friday Night football was a great idea!
  13. 1-0 Vernon
  14. I doubt he mixes with the riff raff in Asda, he probably shops in Tesco or Sainsburys.
  15. I haven't got a fucking clue what he's talking about. I am one of these people that rate managers by performances on the park and don't lose any sleep about comments to the press. Some of the performances on the park under Calderwood were excellent, some were absolute rubbish. I'm struggling to think of many/any excellent performances since he left, most have been poor, some have been average at best. The ones getting upset are the ones who were wrong at the time, and are still wrong now. People need to move on, he's not coming back, and nor should he. We need to get the current mess sorted out though.
  16. Aye but that's stating the obvious.
  17. I personally thought he'd taken the club as far as he could, but I didn't have a problem with his weight.
  18. Jesus wept.
  19. There's talk of FIFA imposing a worldwide ban if City can do him for breach of contract and sack him. Would be nothing more than the cunt deserves. For such a talented footballer, you've got to wonder what goes through his mind.
  20. Move on FFS!
