Amazing gig and a great send off for Mani. Very pleased they did Kowalski! Not been at the Barras for a few years but its still the best venue. The sound is amazing!

Saw it this afternoon and it's a good film but not as good as the original IMHO. The definitive version for me is the three hour Swedish version. But it was a good film which more or less kept true to the book with a few annoying tweaks. Opening sequence was excellent. Although Rooney Mara is very good in it, she is not a patch on Noomi Rapace IMHO. I don't know if I would have a different opinion if I saw the Hollywood version first, but I prefer the darker, eerie, moodier original. A couple of folk I was with preferred this new version, but hadn't seen the extended version of the original (only the cinematic version).

As far as I'm aware they are all employed?

Anyone seen the Hollywood version of Dragon Tattoo? Just wondering how it compares to the original. In two minds about going to see it but I'm a big fan of the books so I'll probably go out of curiosity.

Quite surprised at the stats on the BBC website as it felt like we were marginally the better team without, as usual, creating enough chances. Looked like a lack of concentration that cost us any points. Not a great game and a very disappointing result. Good work by Milsom for our goal. With Caley looking pretty poor at the back, we really need to be creating more chances in a game like that. We definitely missed Pawlett.

I'm at the game. We're shading it at half time and have had a good last 15-20 minutes of the first half. We're defending quite well but ICT are shaky at the back. Possibly a professional foul on Vernon after only a couple of minutes - I'd like to see it again but could have been a red? Worst player on the park? Foster. Simply not good enough.
