I think its clear we don't have much money to play with in terms of transfer fees. Seems strange given our clubs "contacts" that we haven't inquired about him. But who's to say we haven't (I know how unlikely it is given how our clubs appears to be run).
S_S was it not in installments depending on appearances etc?? Surely if we actually offered 150K straight up they would bite our hands off.
Not sure what the actual details were but basically JJ came out and said he didnt offer 150K.
To think of the farce that happened at Killie when they tried to sign Allan Russel in January any transfer fee mentioned involving Killie should always be taken with a pinch of salt.
-
There was something on BBC about a reputed 150K bid from Killie to which JJ said he had done no such thing.
I would be shocked to say the least if Killie were to be bidding 150K for a player!!

Stoner wants a brief mate, he text me last night.
He text me as well. Managed to get rid of 2 out of 4 spares so far!!
-
I know not everybody is wanting to go to this but i have 2 spares so if anybody wants to go then send me a PM.
First come first served basis.

Members only is Smooths team i think.
We put them out in the quarters on penalties a couple years ago so they would have been delighted to have avoided us
-
Dodds was an excellent penalty box striker one of which we havent had since he left.

Ended up trying to get mine online as well as the phone but couldnt get through at all on the phone.
Kept getting to putting in my bank details and then it would say that i was timed out and that if i was trying to checkout then i wouldnt be charged. Lo and behold a while later i ended up with two emails saying that i had two tickets so from only wanting 2 i now have 4!!
Fucking idiots!!

21-30 i think, missed loads after breaking my ankle in Madrid and some at the end of the season through not being able to be arsed.

Its part of the argument. If you can go through when you only win 1 game, lose 2 and draw 1 then its clear that the systems got problems, which is how we managed to get through.
Of course its a different argument. You said we didnt deserve to get through which in my opinion is wrong. All the teams knew before it started how you qualified for the next round. We qualified, Moscow and Copenhagen didnt. Thats because we deserved to qualify from that group.
The UEFA cup and the Champions League have got ridiculous because its all about making money for the rich clubs. A new format is definitely required.
-
The top two deserved to go through, the rest deserved nothing.
But it clearly states the first 3 earn the right to go through to the next round, we finished third so deserved to go through.
The structure of the UEFA cup is not the issue as that is a different argument.
-
1 win in 8 games in the whole tournament says otherwise. We benefited from a stupid set-up, thats all.
Who deserved to go through instead of us and why.

Only a few days till we can all give an informed decision

Don't know if it was mentioned already but you can get the SPL logo on the shirt for an extra £6. Who's going to be daft enough to do that?
Spotte that, did find it mildly amusing!!

How can distance between Rangers and St Mirren in my post be 0.17 miles, and in yours it's over 3 miles?!
Maybe you got the young fit crow that takes short cuts and he got the old sensible one that stays away from busy routes??

My cyber pound is on Falkirk for the drop.

They do sweetchuck but I can't imagine Calderwood won't spend all of the budget available to him, meaning he can only sign a limited amount and that budget is set by other folk. Usual suspects again.
You could probably include Miller as a new signing too, they really will say that, mark my words.
Same will probably be said about Duff as well.

Closing the top off though makes a hell of a lot more sense than closing off the bottom half! My one trip there last season and I couldn't believe how far away we were from the pitch. It was crap and sounded really shite on the highlights.
They shut off the bottom half for the rearranged midweek game last season but when its cold and wet i'd rather be up the top. At least then you get to stay dry and warm while watching Foster bury a cracker from 30 yards!!

I'm sure a match at Fir Park a few seasons ago (might've been when the likes of Deloumeaux and Billio were playing for us, hence I seem to remember 2002/03. But a lot of booze and other substances at that time have permanently damaged my long-term memory).
There was a fairly decent Aberdeen support at the game. I'm sure that the upper deck of that awkwardly-sized stand was shut off. Fair made for a better atmosphere, cos let's face it there were fuckall home fans at the game, and Fir Park ain't exactly the easiest of grounds for the Red Army to get to in their numbers
They always tend to shut one level in that stand when we play there. Even the fiver game we were all in the bottom section.

Went for Snelders as well but was a close call.
-
So just to clarify, you would accept one quality player that doesn't put the effort in then?
We just got rid of Lovell as well.
-
Think they look alright.

Nae Bryan Prunty??
Scored in a victory at Parkhead i would suggest that means he cant be selected in such a team.

When being out injured i put on a bit of weight and have lost the speed i once had. I still try real hard though but can be quite frustrating for my teammates. I must be Darren Mackie

Do we think Paul Lawrie will be expecting to miss the cut at the Scottish Open to see how his team gets on?!
