Apparently as well as the stitches he has a broken nose.

Number 1 happens all the time no matter what the level of football.
If you've been out injured with a completely unrelated injury and are desperate to get back playing but feel a wee twinge the day before, you hope that its going to be ok. If on the Saturday its the same or worse and you think you'll struggle then you should tell the boss. In this case its just because he wants to be playing for us so not going to hold it against him.
-
Think he will go with Diamond Severin and Considine with Mulgrew and Foster wing backs.
Thats exactly what i wanted to see on Saturday with Smith inside behind a front two of Miller and a.n.other.
-
Mulgrew for me. To have a full back that can pass the ball to another Aberdeen player is definitely a plus point!!
-
Would have been JDV if he'd played any longer but that apart Foster then Smith with Foster getting the nod.
-
I only gave the list of names being branded about!! I know we have no chance of signing most of them.
The only ones we would maybe have a small chance of signing would be Burke and Gow.
Will be interesting to see how many are sold and what sort of prices the huns get.
-
The list of names flying about includes Boyd, Cousin, Burke, Gow, Hemdani and maybe one more but those 5 for definite are on the list.

I genuinely do think that we have the players to play 3 at the back, especially in a home game against ICT when we should be taking the game to them from the start. Mulgrew and Foster will be looking to get forward, Smith in his role will get plenty of the ball while McDonald and Kerr keep it tight in the middle of the park. Find out who's scoring goals and we've got a good side i reckon.
If we play 442 then i wont be overly surprised but that relies on whoever is playing wide to get to the byeline for a change and we havent seen that often enough. At least with 352, we have Smith who can get on the ball and create and two wingbacks who can try to get to the byeline. Just think this way it gives us more options going forward.

All the bbc pundits to a man have put utd as their favourite to finish 3rd. Not one of them put us. Fair enough utd are hard to beat but they dont exactly have a threatening front line.
Warren Feeney will be a good acquisition for them.
I'm happy that the pundits are all tipping United as they are usually wrong.

JC is 15/2 third favourite behind Mixu 15/8 and Laszlo 3/1.
The odds on Walter have been slashed to 8/1 4th favourite.
Safest is Billy Reid at 40/1.

If we finish at least 3rd and are pushing the old firm a bit closer then i dont think its necessary that we win a trophy for it to be a successful season. Would love for us to win a trophy and that would be what i'm looking for on a personal level this season, whilst finishing top four.

Ayr Utd or Morton Away, might be our last chance to visit these rickety old stadiums, and we haven't had a trip to an old-school cow-shed ground for years.
Would rather Ayr than Morton. Think Morton at Cappielow would be tricky.
-
“It means we now look to be going into the first match of the season with a full squad to choose from and I can't ask for any more than that.
When was the last time we could say that?
-
Dumbarton away would suit me fine as well.
Clyde are run by John Brown and have Andy Goram as goalkeeper coach as well, that could be a fun night out.
-
This Clydebank game:
Was there as well. 9 at the time thinking we were coasting, then we were going out, then it was going to extra time, then Booth popped up to win it!! Daily Retard headline the next day said Jess for you after Eoin broke his leg in the first game.
Another one i remember was a trip to Parkhead when the fog descended leaving the whole stadium singing we cannae see fuck all, got abandoned and we drew 2-2 in the rearranged game.
-
Actually there is a Dutch version of the name
There could well be a Japanese version as well, unfortunately i've never been very good at drawing...

We should be able to bring in somebody better yet we still havent done.
He did score vital goals for us last season but due to injury etc it was pretty much a write off. He has finished top scorer the season his contract was running out but has never followed up one good season with another. He continually gets played because he is a pain in the ass for defenders as he doesnt give them time to settle but eventually if we are going to progress this cant be enough and he will have to turn this into more goals.
-
But what I'm gettin at is Mackie is NOT a footballer. He's chosen the wrong sport to become a pro at. Maybe he should be a track runner or something. He's athletic, yes. A footballer? Probably a passable 1st Division striker at best. Certainly not good enough to warrant staying at Scotland's 3rd biggest club for almost a decade!
Cant argue with that
-
A la Ricky Foster in his days as a winger?
A la Darren Mackie in his days as a winger? At least we solved that problem!!
-
Figures vary but i'm led to believe that its £800 a game and this is also to do with the new deal which sees the SPL as a whole getting more cash, the referees think its only fair that some goes their way.
They may have a point but they better fucking earn it for a change rather than the usual shite we have to put up with.

I would say 100s of emails gives them an indication of the extent that this has angered the fans.
If you look I have also suggested a combined press release/open letter from Supporters Groups. Being in Glasgow I'm not exactly in a position to pop down to Pittodrie but I agree that face to face discussions would be more fruitful but the chances of speaking to anyone of any importance has to be pretty slim.
Incidentally, apparently the SPL rules contain this rule:
C6.1 Subject to Rules C6.2 and C6.3, the entire gate receipts of all League Matches (including abandoned or replayed League Matches) shall be retained by the Home Club.
So surely the 5% is illegal?
A combined response from supporters clubs is a far better way to do it than loads of individuals sending in emails. It may give them an idea that the fans arent happy but ultimately when has the club ever been overly fussed about that.
I didnt think they would be able to come up with this and it would all of a sudden be law but it takes for the SPL to stand up and say something and they wont unless pressured into it by the other 10.
It's shameful by the scum but they are the playground bullies and know they can throw their weight about if they so desire.
Can we afford to play Foster on Saturday?

Cant believe there was anything in Millers performance on Wednesday that concerned you!!
Dont think that we have any better options to play right back at the moment unfortunately. If Mulgrew doesnt make it then i'll be more concerned as that means Foster plus somebody else even more useless!!
