There's really no comparing leaving essentially the reserves to go to Leicester and leaving when in the form of your life to join Man Utd.

The guy started at the tims and went to Man Utd and now been to a couple other clubs, there is no way in hell we could afford to sign him so its just another unrealistic target.

Normally an optimist as well but after watching that yesterday am struggling. We got humped by a team that has been getting humped by everybody and apart from Mair missing from 3 yards i honestly didnt see us getting a goal. Celtic should hump us but nearer to the game i'll probably think that we may have a chance again!!

I always thought we should go for it as it means we are playing proper games rather than bull shit pre season tours in fucking ridiculous places!

Just watched the highlights on bbc and as i remember we humped them and should have been 4 up by half time. The free kick leading to their equaliser was a shocker of a decision (1 of many, they were denied a stonewall penalty and we had a few shouts that could have been given especially when they were defending set pieces) but after half time we looked a shambles at the back.

Maguire is soft as fuck and has to grow a set but was always looking for space and getting on the ball but should have had at least 2 yesterday. JDV is slow as fuck but generally keeps the ball and was helped out by Maybury who was overlapping constantly in the 1st half. Bus cant attack the ball when its in the air and always wants to let it drop and will be away by the end of the season. Miller didnt have his best game either.

All in all disappointed we got beaten obviously but was a much improved performance than has been on show recently.

A wee bit of rain and everyone starts worrying. Jimmy might have a point with everybody outside Glasgow being soft 

Last weeks game would have been playable at Hampden even with the amount of rain that fell. Fucking east coast 

Looking forward to this one much more than i was last weeks. Without Robson there is no doubt that they are weaker its just a question of us taking advantage of it. Quite looking forward to seeing Walker playing as well.

3 Domestic Cup match tickets - only thistle and united £15ish (if halved roughly, cant remember)

4 Home UEFA Cup match tickets - Dnipro, Moscow, Munich £50ish (had bought for Copenhagen as well but sold it as i couldnt go)

5 Merchandise from the club shop - Two tops £80

Total £285ish. Not been to the club shop though to see if there is anything worth buying, may do that soon.

Agree that Seve and Diamond could form a good partnership and would appear that Seve can read the game and cover whereas Diamond is the guy that just goes after the ball so they would both compliment each other. Though not sure about how they would cope against a better side as Seve was a disaster at the back at Parkhead.

Really do want Lovell to prove that he's worth a new contract but cant see him being an Aberdeen player next season. Whether he plays well and scores goals or not, he may feel that he hasnt been given a fair shot and spends too much time on the bench so will fancy moving on. He is a good finisher (apart from Parkhead last season when he should have scored 4) but has also this season shown that he hasnt fancied it much so will just wait and see.

To be fair its quicker to get to Madrid than it is to get to Inverness but i'll be there and i expect to see at least the 26000 dons fans who all think they should get a ticket for Madrid
