  2. Hangs head in shame for using the following link https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aberdeen-fc-kickstart-recruitment-strategy-31213206?utm_source=taboola&utm_medium=exchange&tblci=GiBvhl4fb22DUqVgaBWtJbeEAwrLJqBdO2gNk5oMomHNNyDi3kUouLO96brf2fbQAQ#tblciGiBvhl4fb22DUqVgaBWtJbeEAwrLJqBdO2gNk5oMomHNNyDi3kUouLO96brf2fbQAQ
  3. It's never too early to get this up and running although Rico might have an alternative view on this. So what's everyone's wishes for the next transfer window. Could we send Dadia & Williams back to their respective parent clubs and replace them with other loans or if the right caliber of player is available within the budget then perhaps permanent signings. Any chance we could get Gartenmann on a permanent in January ? Could do with a real winger, remember not that long ago when we had loads of them. Not really window related but extended deals for Barron and Roos would be welcome. downside of the window is going to be the attention that Miovski is guaranteed to be getting. Think we'll do well to still have come the window closure.
  4. Indeed O.D and I would have been left disappointed had it not been for the swift actions of Mr Rico in drawing my attention to to it. Fortunately tickets secured Apparently the conference is being opened by a celebrity I've heard it's going to be Beyon-Sleigh
  5. You beauty, always fancied attending that. Football become irrelevant in light of that development
  6. Edinburgh > Helsinki (Wed morning) Helsinki > Stansted > Edinburgh (Friday afternoon/evening)
  7. Disagree about the Norway and Georgia games being like friendlies, We still have much to play for to be honest. Six points out of six in the last couple of games, not only mathematically, although realistically unlikely, makes it possible for us to still win the group, but more importantly will pretty much make us guaranteed to be a second seed come the draw in December. This is important as there will be five group winners that will fall into the second seed group and would mean we'd miss some big hitters.
  8. In the space of eight days, we've had the fiasco of VAR not getting involved with the Duk assault, the goal (??) v St Johnstone and now this last night. For sometime now, I've been completely disillusioned with VAR, and these instances above are by no means isolated incidents. I'm sick of sitting either live at a game or watching on tv whilst the game pauses for several minutes and some guys in a VAR studio sit and watch it over and over again still in numerous incidents somehow managing to get it wrong. Just bin the fucking thing and give us back the game we all fell in love with. @ Rico, fucking tremendous post above mate. One of the best ever on her in my humble opinion.
  9. Ticket purchased
  10. I was fishing mate
  11. Sad news, they were married for a long time and she nursed him back to health after his stroke Thoughts with Sir Alex and the family.
  12. Nope Brian's lad
  13. I take a different view on that Excellent result and well worth the twenty year wait to appear on that stage.
  14. Gutted Not
  15. Or Harvey Barnes
  16. Think that pretty much anyone that wants one will get one unless of course we win our next three games in the competition as the chance to qualify will swell the numbers
  17. Ticket details for Helsinki away announced today. Marginally over 1500 tickets we are getting. Seriously doubted I would qualify for a ticket but actually qualify for first phase
  18. From back in 2004, the five piece American band, Carbon Leaf, best known for their folk infused indie rock sound
  19. Absolutely gutted to hear the news yesterday. So fortunate to have seen him during his all too brief spell with us including being at the games where he scored four against The Victims and his hat trick at Tynecastle. With another four or five years in an Aberdeen shirt with him at full fitness, it is scary to think what he might of achieved. Thoughts with his family RIP Frank

    Celeb Deaths

Franny Lee, ex Man City player and one time club chairman passed away aged 79 Grew up in the early 70's watching the likes of Lee, Allan Clarke @ Leeds Utd, John Toshack @ Liverpool. Great players from a by gone age RIP Francis
  21. Just like being back in the 90's with Huntly sitting top of the pile
  22. Well been pretty much tied up with things all weekend. Long story short, I never saw any of the game on Saturday afternoon, but by fuck have I made up for it by watching the highlights a half dozen times or so. The Snake getting red carded and obviously the used car salesman getting his jotters (at serious financial cost to the Huns) just made the weekend better and better Outstanding result and pleased for Robson as the heat was turning up on him. I can also see a real togetherness starting to appear in the squad. One swallow does not a summer make and now we seem to have a but of confidence and momentum it is imperative that we keep it going until the international break. Is it circa £500k a victory on Thursday evening is worth to us ?
  23. Out Ryder Cup Red TV (at least for the start of the game) Family visiting 1-1 Devlin
  24. Words of wisdom Rico Give the lad a call and get him told
  25. Apologies for the source Surely the bit about being offered a new deal last term on lesser terms can't be correct https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/connor-barron-fresh-aberdeen-contract-31034744
