  1. St Johnstone wanted it more and seemed to me the dons were waiting for them to collapse as soon as McGinn's goal went in. Saints bossed the second half and for me every time they came forward, Anderson and co looked rushed and panicked. There also seem to be far to much pussy footing around the box when a solid 'hoof it up and/ or out of the park' was required. Well now its back to league business. Best response would be shutting the euro qualification door on Caley on Friday night.
  2. They haven't had semi final replays since the mid 90s

    Films

Went to see 'The Raid 2' last night Never heard of the original and it was a toss up between this and captain America. Mate sold it to my by proclaiming that is was a sort of 'oldboy' style film. Extreme silly and gory violence but it did keep the attention spam awake. Although how it is possible to continue to fight several heavily armed blokes when yer right hamstring has seemingly been cut by a large machete 10mins before..... This one has stepped up the gore factor compared to other films like it that I have seen and i find it a bit silly now. Not even Tom & Jerry would be standing after some of the crap pulled in this film yet gang members, dodgy cops and gangsters seen to take an eternity to kill no matter how many times you hit them in the head with numerous sharp and or heavy metal objects Still a hell of alot better than the last film i went to see (Thor 2)
  4. Is this guy being bankrolled by every single other team in Scotland nae the UK?
  5. Interesting to see how the removal of cars from Broad Street affects rush hour traffic at the Mount houley (sp) Roundabout. This has been going on so long now (they even gave this to me at my final year of uni back in 2003/04) and they are still going on about this 'civic square' bullshit. of course it wouldn't be Aberdeen if there weren't going to be more shops
  6. yeah that wont cause issues
  7. Motherwell just gone 2-1 up at Caley.
  8. Usually yes but Scotrail have a habit of suddenly 'removing' cheap tickets when there will be a big demand Friends fares from Glasgow to Aberdeen posted missing when Rangers or Celtic are playing there etc etc Be interested to see if anyone managed to get an advance cheap ticket after they announced the date of the semi final
  9. If they were liquidated before the season ended I presume either all points earned against them would be cancelled or every match they played be declared a 3-0 win for the other clubs If it is points removed Motherwell would lose 9 points, Arabs & Caley would lose 7. Dons on the other hand would either lose 1,3 or nothing depending on wednesdays result. If its the 3-0 option then Motherwell gain nothing, Caley & Arabs gain 2 points and Dons gain 6,8 or 9 (depending on wednesdays result)
  10. There's actually 2 tickets available
  11. 2-0 Hearts Step up Aberdeen to 'relegate' an spl team for the 2nd time in 2 seasons
  12. Really like McGinns Celebration (can see the goal on BBC iplayer right now if you sroll back through the live alba feed). Looked like a load had been taken off his mind and hopefully this will lead to another rich scoring run from him
  13. United Missing Ciftci and Roberston Considine & Hayes out for Dons - Pawlett might play
  14. Id still prefer to see the club experiment with a sliding scale of ticket prices ie If you buy the tickets 1 month in advance they are say half price, 3 weeks in advance 2/3 of the price, 2 weeks in advance 3/4 of the price. After that its full price whether you buy them early from the ticket office or at the turnstiles on the day. The issue with this is of course how you solve the season ticket conundrum. I haven't been to a home match for a while now so are they still continuing with a fixed price per ticket or have they brought back the category system - ie Celtic or Rangers match is more expensive to attend that a Kilmarnock or St Johnstone match?
  15. In/oot: Oot Prematch: Work Match: Radio while working Post match: Fuck all Prediction: 1-0 Zola (yes thats right!!!) Quick look at the fixtures. Dons win their next 3 games, Celtic turn over the arabs on the 5th, Motherwell take out Caley on the 1st and that would pretty much tie up a UEFA cup spot before the split.
  16. Fuck sake Fallon!!!!
  17. Oot Skype meeting and numerous phonecalls whilst trying to keep an eye on the BBC text updates Staying up late 1-0 County (yes thats right!!)
  18. By the way those chosing the main stand be warned. Some of the seats on the lowest tier are actually behind the copeland road stand (and vice versa on the opposite end). This is a remnant from when Ibrox was a bowl shape like hampden and you cannot actually see the goal or a large chunk of the pitch from them. Ive done first aid there and the only times i saw those seats sold was an old firm match but given how stupid the SFA are i wouldnt put it past them selling them to Dons and saints fans
  19. Saints are not expecting to take more than 5k
  20. I would absolutely love it if this sold out. Even if we lose the match it sets the benchmark for any future cup semi and/ or final appearances against the gruesome twosome and will give the SFA a headache
  21. 70000 apparently
  22. Whatever number they say make sure you add 3000
