Of course we won't accept it but anyone genuinely thinking that any club is coming in with opening offers above that sort of figure is sadly mistaken in my opinion.
Only way we're getting a fair wedge for him is if there is a bidding war.
I'm of the opinion that the fact he's been out injured for the past few weeks might just work in our favour and that Ramsay will still be here when the window shuts at end of January.

Take it!!!

The hubs have signed an Armadillo.

I think it's more the fact we have never built up a decent team for at least 2 decades.
We always pursue mediocre players and hope they'll be game changers.

They’re on a shite run of form, and im actually glad we’re at home. Had we been away they’d have more of a chance. At least we’ve now got a shot at a result. Not sure why I feel like that after the shit show from the midweek game but I do.
H2H wise results have been all over the shop, but generally speaking, not many goals so given both our predicaments, would expect this to remain unchanged.

1-1, Ferguson pen
In other words, they'll beat us.

A striking coach should not be instilling keeping their head down in their play, unless he's teaching primary kids. If they're at this stage in their career and don't already know that then they're screwed. He'll be teaching them about runs to make, walking them through the weaknesses of specific opponents, set plays etc, along with many other general coaching duties (I don't even think his job title is striker coach). There was only one chance last night where we had an open shot on goal and that was a decent effort, wide, by Ferguson on his wrong foot. Every opportunity high and wide was either a bad choice to shoot (out of frustration, with Ferguson particularly guilty) or under pressure and difficult to get away a shot. Those types of shot are difficult and a cursory glance at even the greatest league in the world will see midfielders blazing over with a man between them and the goal. It's a function of playing without wingers and it was apparent even against Edinburgh city. We had so many shots against them, but only a handful were actual decent chances because we're simply not creating them. The Jet chance against city being the first sitter in open play we've missed in ages. Our tactics are forcing us into trying to convert difficult chances in crowded areas, and no amount of coaching is going to improve that.
You're talking about 2 games.(one of them being against a league 2 team).
I'm talking about the whole season to date.
Coaches in all sports will talk about basics mixed with their own ideas or ones they have learned through experience.
A boxer still has to be told how and where to punch, a sprinter still needs to be told how to run, a swimmer told how to hold his position in the water and how to use his stroke etc etc.
Sports coaches are there to coach, encourage, remind, guide, train, practice.
Our players are shite at shooting.
If you can argue with that then one of us is blind.

Meant to say being under pressure of course will affect technique but we aren't very good at shooting per say.

There were very few shots that a striking coach would have much influence over. Telling people to keep their head down has no bearing on anything, they'll have been told that since they were 5. The reason we're skying so many is that we're dicking about forever in possession, leaving us to try difficult, speculative efforts from distance with a player between the man and goal when the answer is just not to shoot. Very few of our shots have been open and what you'd class as good chances. We're not creating good chances. We're too easy to frustrate thirty yards out. Not only that, because we don't hit the line and get a cross in, we don't benefit from any other chances that might come from a deflection or poor clearance either. I feel a bit sorry for Hedges and Ojo, who've been asked to cut inside and try and make something out of nothing through intricate passing in congested defences.
The reason we are saying shots over is lack of composure and remembering to keep your head down.
Things a striking coach should be instilling in their play.
It's all about technique whether under pressure or not.
We've had plenty chances where a player has made space and still blown it over the bar or midway to the corner flag.

Yup, very poor result.
I'm standing by my previous comment when asking what the fuck our striker coach is doing.
Surely he tells every outfield player to keep their body/head down to keep the ball from flying over the fucking crossbar every time?
We are severely lacking in goals so I'm asking what happens on the training ground.
If Allan is a fantastic coach then we need to get rid of a LOT of players.

Some good news though.
I have scheduled a meeting for 3pm every Saturday for the rest of the season.

Tragic.
I don't know how anyone gets through this.
I wondered what the circumstances were.
Would've been terrible for others waiting for the train and passengers.
I always find trains coming towards you very scary, powerful machines and yet we stand only feet away from these.
Perhaps a gate/fence line should be installed 2 metres from tracks.

Yup, she’s meeting you at Love Street, how appropriate.
Bet Caitlyn turns up instead and you don't even notice.

Just looked at a few highlights reels of Vicente Besuijen.
This young lad is class!
Great touch, great vision.
Been saying for years that we should recruit youth from countries like Holland where the roots/pedigree of football is far superior to ours.
Well done Glass/recruitment dude for snatching him.
Welcome to AFC.

Always bemused me that we never saw McGinn as a striker for a while.
Hot and cold so many times. Non existent so many games but when he 'turned up' he was brilliant!

Vicente can play on the right and the left.

£3.3mill for Ramsay?
Hopefully the bidding wars start as he's worth at least double that.

I was going to say shush before HaarDon started on about Russell being a waste of money.
Fuck.
Please elaborate.
Are you seeing a lot of goals being scored?
Are we continuously ballooning shots over the bar or to the side?
Don't think statistics on edinburgh city cover the last season/year?
-
Have to ask the question again?
What are Allen and co doing at the training ground?
-
Think we will see Kennedy come on for this one if Glass has been impressed with him in training.
I would've started him if he's been decent.
