Pretty sure Rico had already mentioned overpriced tools.

OK Glass you've had your chance.
Failed miserably in 2 windows now and we are sliding down the league.
Waa never the right guy to produce the goods.
-
It's just so disappointing eh.
Cormack should hold another meeting and answer questions.

I'm sure it's a very difficult job dealing with players , agents and timing.
However, surely you crave success as a manager and look months ahead as to whom might be available.
It seems Glass and DM leave things to the last minute having been content with beating Hibs to some signing a few days before the window shuts.
It's shit management.
All these promises.
We haven't moved on from decades ago.
I used to think we were the 2nd, 3rd best team in Scotland.
What saddens me is the reality that we aren't.
Hearts are better than us ffs and we are competing with the likes of Hibs, Motherwell (again) and even Livingston.
I'm not expecting Glass to make us a far better team in his 1st season but all this talk of great football, goals, excitement is just bollocks.
We have a good winger (hopefully), a teenager on loan from the same league and a dude from college.
Wtf?

'77- two little crutches!'

Is it Glass’ fault? We have a Director of Football and a Head of Recruitment on the payroll. Glass is as much at fault for failure to sign any of our targets as our Assistant Manager is for not being able to turn Connor McLennan into Harry Kane.
It's all their faults.
But Glass is responsible for building the team.
Nobody wants to sign for us as we are a mediocre middle of the league team.
-
Utterly shite Glass.

I think Besuijen will be brilliant but he may be 1 quality player we have other than Ramsay (who could be gone)
I see the rest as bang on average players who cannot lift their game when the chips are down unfortunately.
I still like Ramirez but he needs quality balls and space to thrive.
I also wish Hedges had stayed.

Our January transfer business is fucking rank rotten like every other one!
100% agree.
Though it does take months and months to buy 1 college player from America and a guy from the Dutch 2nd division- (nothing wrong with that).
We're putting a lot of hope in Besuijen
Brilliant work!

Expect our four late minute full international signings to make their debuts in a very different looking Dons line up, seeing us play "sexy" football and a resaultant 5-0 victory for us.
Then again in reality wouldn't be surprised to see no new signings, more of the same dross and an uninspire one each draw at best

1-1 (your guess is as good as mine)
There's only 1 true sexy player in AFC and he's been injured.

Hope we manage to get a replacement in before the window closes. Thanks Hedges, on your day you were brilliant.
Totally agree.
I'm a little sad about this tbh.

All this talk of Besuijen and Hedges is making me want a cigarette.

He was given his last 6 month deal to prove his fitness and was injured for the entire period. I just don’t get it.
Wasn't it a recurring injury though which he's now had surgery on so hopefully fixed.
We shall see.

This just confirms my suspicions that Glass is completely out of his depth. Devlin had a history of injuries at Hamilton, arrived injured and been injured most of his time at the club. Mental to offer him another deal.
Better the Devlin you know.
But to be serious, I think it's worth one more try with him now his long term injury has been operated on and it's apparently fixed.
I'd rather try him as a fit player than gamble money on some unknown.

My garden fence already blew down so I think I'm out.
Least you'll have strong opinions about whether this team will win or not.

Picture of the lad in hospital doing the rounds along with rumour of an hernia operation which usually means minimum of 4 weeks of no training if true.
If that's true then we are a fucking joke of a club.
Glass sort this team out and buy a good striker and stop the mediocrity.
Are we really relying on 1 decent winger to turn things around?

I don’t think so. He’s leave for nothing in 3-4 months. According to ESPN stats he has 2 goals no assists this year, that correct??? Any real loss??
I don't get the Hedges criticism.
He's a fantastic, exciting player on his day and he's had plenty of 'days'.
He's been the most exciting player for a few seasons we've had and has great skills.
His choices sometimes haven't been great but I think many fans seem to forget some of his moves and brilliance at taking on players successfully.
I understand he can go for free at the end of the season but prior to that, to not get at least £1mill for him is very strange management/business.

Interesting to see if they can get a tune out of him as we certainly couldn't.
We got him with no strings attached.

£200k for Hedges is a disgrace,

It was when haardon first replied though. They've obviously downgraded because he was so quick to say take it. Bologna are known for watching this site.
Well in that case.
Aberdeen fc have just received an increase bid from Man Utd for £8million.

I didn't realise that Al.
Agreed piss off Bologna

Not sure why you would want rid of our best player mate? After the last couple of years with no crowds, Glass would surely get very little of that fee to spend so the team would end up weaker. The longer we can keep a hold of the lad, the better. Unless you're on the board like?
I dont want rid of him woking but that price is too good an offer for a team sitting in the middle of the league.
A club record near £5mill?
Bloody right I'd take it.
We will miss him ofc.

Aaron Ramsay has been great for Wales but why are Juve getting rid of him if he's so amazing?
Being great for Wales is like having the biggest dick in a porno starring hamsters.
