  1. They are in serious financial soapy, losses mask the cash burn which was £12.5m..... they need a lot more than £2.5, rememeber £5m of the £12.5m cash was from Big Mike...
  2. Hayes is a good SPL player, however his decision making, occasional poor technique and poor football brain often lets him down. If he had those two elements he would be an international class player. Too often we see shit crossing , poor decisions in terms of passing and woeful shooting. On his day he is our best player.
  3. Only taken just over a month to say something, stellar
  4. 2 goals and 2 assists from Nuttall, boy is showing up well , looks mobile as well
  5. Yet he continues to get on bench and play in games, are we seriously saying there is not one u21/youth capable of doing a shift at RB ?
  6. Taylor and Quinns defending for the third was disgraceful appeared to be out muscled by the dwarf boaby flasher
  7. Aye I got that also, doubt he will start next game
  8. Mixing up a lot of issues here, but where is exactly Mclean's best position ? He did for a spell with St Mirren play as striker when Thompson was out just behind a striker is where he should play in my opinion.
  9. Looked back to line up when we had that great run last year around Nov/December, this was pretty much the line up. Brown, Logan, Considine, Taylor, Reynolds, McGinn, Hayes, Pawlett, Jack, Rooney, Goodwillie. Now that team has effectively 5 attacking players in it, Hayes would play along side Jack in the middle and would be able to burst forward at pace. Likewise you have Pawlett ( who is now completely out of form) and Mcginn also running forward at pace. It was certainly fluid. Now when we bought Mclean is changes the team somewhat , he has no pace more of a creative player, but it changes the dynamic of the team. When you have guys like Hayes and/or Mcginn/Pawlett that can pick the ball up in their own half and gain 50 yards of ground it relieves a lot of pressure on the defence and the team. Just another perspective.
  10. The situation with Jack frustrates me. There are games when he strolls through them and looks like a limousine of a player. In other games he is invisible. I do think he performs better with Shinnie alongside him. I remember the Celtic game at Pittodrie. First half he was invisible. In the second he appeared to be dropping much deeper and was very good, now Mcinnes made a few positional tweaks, which maybe helped, but it summed up the paradox he is as a player.
  11. Perhaps not a comparator, but I listened to Radio 5 on Sunday morning and as we know Mourinho was lost the dressing room, one player appears to have been said that he would prefer to lose than win for Mourinho. Now if that can happen at Chelsea is there any reason to suggest there is not something toxic happening at Aberdeen. Saturday was gutless, spineless our captain is a supine , scared wee boy. He isnt a winner.
  12. Not averse to dropping reynolds for quinn, I seem to remember Reynolds playing lb a few times and he wasnt bad. Using the tombola would this be such a bad line up? GK WARD RB LOGAN LB REYNOLDS CB TAYLOR CB QUINN DM FLOOD CM SHINNIE CM JACK RW MCGINN LW HAYES CF ROONEY A 4-1-2-3
  13. I think Flood has to start , he can work alongside Jack the players need to be disciplined in terms of their role , then play mcginn and hayes wide with mclean behind Rooney. Taylor, Reynolds, Shinnie, Logan at the back.
  14. Rather worrying there appears no one capable of stepping up into the first team.
  15. sell him in January if we can get a 250k for him
  16. Fatigue? Dont buy it , these boys are professional athletes. It could be used as an excuse for Hibs, but there is no explanation for the St Johnstone game other than the players have chucked it. By my calculations we had played 16 competitive games at that stage Saints 13 , so for me the fatigue argument doesnt hold.
  17. assume the piece of furniture was a Shays Lounge.........
  18. Ryan Jack is 23 not sure he has more 'growing' to do
  19. These have been gleaned from many sources whether they are accurate or not remains to be seen. I saw several mentions that Mcinnes had applied for Rotherham job, in fact your man Tyrone had mentioned they had him on shortlist. Plausible? Maybe but hardly a step up. Ab mad some posts about tear up between Jack and Logan...given his paper slap antics hardly surprising. None of these maybe true, but something is wrong somewhere
  20. The wage bill is total wages players and 'suitage' we are over burdened with non football salaried staff so it wont all be players wages
  21. Think i will be posting here more often given up with afc chat , every thread derailed and full of puerile idiots. Anyway seismic shift in performance level since Hearts , where I witnessed a team playing like we did in 90,91 and 93 . Wonderful. You cannot go from that level of performance to losing 5-1 at home to shite like St Johnstone. Somethings up players have not been as active on social media, the banter seems to have dried up. I dismiss the shagging taylors wife rumour, more plausible ones are Logan's antics have pissed too many players off, Mcinnes had sent his c.v. to another club and players have lost faith in him, or he had such a go at the players after Hibs they havent reacted. Who knows but i am not buying the pish that teams have 'worked out' how to play against us.
  22. Lets be avin you, Vernon is actually Argentinian for Stavrum , keep it up big man, who the fxck is Lee Miller
  23. Stoney I know you of old, it was a wee dig, but your point does have some merit for discussion. However Mackie is finished ,so I am out
