I mind Fallon scored a goal like that.
Yeah was thinking that I would rather see him making a number of clinical strikes within the box rather than the odd rasper but hey if he does that every week then the Dons support may get behind him

Best signing since Van Der Ark

As Frankie Boyle said - He lived the dream- You know that really weird one where you speak like a castrated parrot and are married to a skeleton

Glad to hear that the lad had a good game. I wasn't impressed with him last week when he came on but he obviously has something
-
Great news, took me by surprise as it bucks the recent trend of players at Scottish club fecking off after a decent season. Boy said he enjoys living in the city and playing for the team and he's proved it. Well done Son
-
He would have Noah chance if he came to us
-
The logic behind that escapes me DD. Why would Hartley give up his full time job for an interim appointment with no guarantees of a job at the end of it?
Stranger things have happened I suppose

Out. Tricky given the injury situation. A draw maybe the best we can hope for but who knows?
-
Good news on the debt front. Well done MIle and Aberdeen Asset Management in writing off nearly £6 million between them
-
That's 3 wins at Killie, St Midden and Hibs. Venues we don't always do particularly well at.
Pity the Huns weren't around for us to break our duck at Mordor
-
Great result, well pleased with that
-
wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.
Is it the constant goals or the prodigeous work rate that put you off?
I know that we havent always seen the scoring goals thing as a desirable trait in our strikers
-
I thought it simply came down to not being as good as them for the 90 minutes. We completely matched them in the first half.
Rae went off and was immediately missed and frankly adding him to the other players we are currently without is just too much. We aren't a bad team at all but we need much more of best players playing and playing well.

A long, but good read from Sir Stuart Cosgrove:

Great read

Good to see we are building a coaching team with a long term future.
He doesnae qualify for his pension until January, hes just a youngster!

I suppose the ball boy should be grateful that it was only his eye.
What with his history of fumbling balls, a really nasty incident could have occurred
-
Very strange if noone else is coming in. He looked good last night, was direct and pacy
and gave us something extra we needed at that stage in the game.As has been said to lose him to one of our main rivals seems bizarre.
Given, that Brown can't play a 17 year old every game means we need our full squad of attacking players. Must be someone else on the horizon, surely

Please with this one, well done AFC

So they have learned their lesson about overspending??? :hammer:
We will see how these over paid 3rd divison players enjoy playing at Peterhead etc in the cold winter months in front of 1000 fans.
The mentality of there fans is one of triumphalism. Assuming that they keep on winning, which looks increasingly likely because of the quality of player they are recruiting then the great unwashed will keep turning up to see them tanking whoever is in front of them. They just like being associated with winning because it in some small way makes up for the other serious inadequacies in their lives such as drug abuse, morbid obesity, autism, inbreeding, burst arse syndrome due to Grandpas baby sitting etc etc
I dont think the 1000 fans scenario will pan out unless they start getting dodgy results against the likes of East Stirling and Albion Rovers.

A young lad with a liking for a few bevvies, he should get on just fine at our club.
Welcome aboard, keep your mind on the football and give us something to get us out of our seats!

There goes another one of the good guys. RIP Teddy

What was the craic with Connor BB? He was almost out the door when i started reading an interest, liked what i saw of him
Industrious left sided midfielder who worked his arse off up and down that side of the pitch and got capped. Got a reputation for being a shite bag but always gave 100%, a very good player imo.

I remember a lot of Don's fans thought Bett was "lazy", Connor was "weak" and Grant was just (just?) the hardworking "utility" player!
Yes Grant was considered a poor mans Simmie and Connor was apparently a jessie. Dont even start on the fans opinion of Stark. Because of what we had had some of these players were considered poor imitations yet we would chew our right arms of nowadays to have those guys.

and to think back then Connor and Grant got pelters from certain sections of our supporters.
I can remember Jim Bett getting pelters on occasions, just goes to show what a discerning support we have.

I like the way McInnes is going about the job of restructuring the team. Think we may just have made a shrewd move appointing him
